Sports Bulletin ReportISLAMABAD: Pakistan Under-12 tennis team comprising Mohammad Shayan Afridi, Mohammad Junaid Khan, Rashid Ali Bachani along with non-playing captain Mohammad Abid-Captain left Islamabad for Nepal to participate in the ATF U12 Team Competition Regional Qualifying fixture of South Asia, which is scheduled to be played from May 20 to 24, 2024 at Kathmandu Nepal.According to an official of Pakistan Tennis Federation (PTF), besides Pakistan, Nepal, Bangladesh, India, Bhutan, Maldives and Sri Lanka will fight for top honour.Captain Mohammad Abid said: "We are fully prepared for the competition. Our team is strong, and we will try to come back as victorious. InshaAllah"

Japan win top position while India earn second position in a 16-nation fixtureSports Bulletin ReportKuching (Malaysia): The Pakistan team comprising Jawad Omer, Talha Abubakar, and Mohammad Hamza Ali Rizwan got the 6th position in the Asia /Oceania WJT Under-14 final qualifying event, which was held in Kuching Malaysia from March 25 to 30, 2024. Heera Ashiq was with the team as non-playing captain.As many as 16 countries of the region participated in the 6-day World Junior Tennis (WJT) fixture. Japan won the top position while Indian players remained on the second stop. Jawad Omer, and Talha Abubakar produced some notable performances in the international event.

ITF appoints Committees and Commissions members from Pakistan

Mohammad Ali Murtaza has been nominated the member of ITF Juniors Committee.In a message, Salim Saifullah Khan and PTF Management thanked David Haggerty, President ITF, and his team for the prestigious appointments. The President-PTF has also assured the President ITF that he and his team would continue to work with the same zeal and dedication for the promotion and development of tennis.
