SPORTS REPORT Rawalpindi (August 6, 2021):-The final round league matches of 10th Islamabad Cup Snooker Championship 2021 will start from Saturday, 7th August, 2021 at Shender41 Snooker Academy, Siddiqui Chowk, Rawalpindi. President, Islamabad Billiards & Snooker Association (IBSA) Senator Dr. Shahzad Waseem, Leader of the house in Senate has extended his good wishes for all the participating players as well as officials. Haris wins Under-21 National Snooker Championship 2020

By Abdul Jabbar Faisal ISLAMABAD (January 23, 2020):-Haris Tahir defeated Umer Farooq in the final of Under-21 Jubilee Insurance National Snooker Championship 2020 in a single sided affair 6-1 at Billiard and Snooker Hall, Pakistan Sports Complex Islamabad on Thursday. Haris form Punjab won the first two frames easily with the score of 82-5 and 77-39 respectively while Umer Farooq, who is also from Punjab, won the alone third frame at 73-19. Later on, rest of all four frames won by Haris without any resistance from his opponent. The final score-line was (82-5), (77-39(63), 19-73, 50-35, 91-21, 79-30(68), 71-8(52),) At the closing ceremony, Munawwar H. Shaikh (President – PBSA), Alamgir Ahmed Shaikh (Former President – PBSA), Rana Naveed Ashfaq (Marketing Head - Jubilee Life Insurance), Ijaz Mehmood ( Joint EVP Jubilee General Insurance), Mohammad Azam Dar (DDG Tech PSB), Manoor Ahmed Khan ( DDG Tech PSB), MB Ghouri (SVP Punjab Snooker Association) and Mohammad Asif (Snooker World Champion) distributed the prizes among the top players.

Under-18 National Juniors Snooker Championship: Umer and Ahsan set to meet in final on Tuesday

By Abdul Jabbar Faisal ISLAMABAD (January 13, 2020):-Duo players from Punjab Mohammad Umer Khan and Ahsan Razman set their clash in the final of the Under-18 National Juniors Snooker Championship 2020 after beating their respective opponents in the semifinals at Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) Billiard and Snooker Hall on Monday. In the first semifinal Mohammad Umer Khan defeated Shehryar Khan from Sindh 4-0 in a single sided affair in a seven frames contest. In the third frame Umer displayed excellent skill of the game and made a 106 points break. He was too good his challenger and he faced not any hurdle to move in the championship fixture that will be taken place on Tuesday at same place. Meanwhile, in the second semifinal, Ahsan Ramzan, who is also from Punjab, outclassed his teammate Shehryar Abbas in similar style 4-0. In the second frame Abbas showed some resistance to his rival, however, rest of whole match was in the pocket of Ahsan. The winner of the semifinal played some beautiful and classic shorts and ease to reach in the final.
