In the Girls Singles event, top seed Aysegul (TUR) played outstanding tennis in the first set Ayesgul and won the first set at 6-1 breaking 3rd and 5th game. She was in excellent touch and forehand drives were watched to witness and her cross court shorts were could not return by opponent, Soo Ha Jang unable to adjust against the pace of powerful game of Aysegul. In the second set Ayesgul was in full command and build up the lead 4-0 by breaking 1st and 3rd game . Soo Ha Jang reduced the lead 3-4 by breaking 6th game of Aysegul. Mert Aysegul won the second set at 6-3 by breaking 9th game of Soo Ha Hang. She gain valuable 21 ITF ranking points by winning the title. The match lasted 1 hour 10 minutes and officiate by Husnain Mehmood. In Boys Singles final, second seed Huzaifa Abdul Rehman (PAK) continue his winning streak and won the Boys Singles title. He build up the winning lead 4-0 by breaking 2nd and 4th game of the first set. Shoaib broke the 5th game of Huzaifa and reduce the lead 3-4. Huzaifa won the first set at 6-4 by holding his own serve. In the second set Shoaib Khan played very consistent game from the base line and took the lead 5-1 by breaking 3rd and 5th game of Huzaifa and won the second set at 6-3 and level the score one set all. In the final set Huzaifa changed the strategy and played more consistent powerful drive from the base line and build up the lead 4-0 by breaking 1st and 3rd game of Soahib and won the final set at 6-3 and it was his second consecutive title which is a new record in Pakistan. Sports Reporter ISLAMABAD-The world number 168, top national badminton girl Mahoor Shehzad hoped that she would ink new history in the upcoming 13th South Asian Games 2019 by winning gold medal for the Pakistan. "Im training hard for the 8-national international regional fixture, " said Mahoor, who won bronze medal recently in the international badminton event in Bulgaria. While talking during an exclusive chatting she said that the SAG would be taken place in Kathmandu, Nepal. "SAG are my first target and after that Tokyo Olympics will be my target and I hope I will qualify for the said quadrennial sports gala of the world, "four times national champion added. She, 22, further said that she visited abroad for the training and she would try to climb up in the international ranking 70 and would be able to qualify the Olympics 2020. "I am toiling hard in the court and gym too for the fitness. I am optimistic to clinch gold medal in the South Asian Games and Iam capable to overcome Indians girls, who are high rank girls in the international circuit, "she viewed. Mahoor, who represents Pakistan WAPDA, revealed that had won the gold medal in the Nepal International Badminton Championship in 2018. "I also won Pakistan International Series 2017 and was runner-up in Pakistan International series 2016, "top national girl said. While talking about her previous record she informed this scribe that she honored to represent Pakistan in the Asian Games 2014 and Commonwealth Games 2018. "I was also selected by Pakistan Olympic Association (POA) for 4th Youth Camp that was held in Guangzhou, China that was held from November 27 to December 3, 2016, "she said. SB Report KARACHI:-Southern Punjab recorded a crushing seven wicket win over Balochistan in the National T20 2nd XI tournament at the National Stadium, Karachi on Thursday. This was Southern Punjab’s third consecutive victory; they remain the only unbeaten side in the event and now have six points from three games and are at the top of the table. In the second match of the day, Sindh overcame Northern by three wickets to register their third win in four games. Balochistan opted to bat first against Southern Punjab, the decision backfired as left-armer Zia-ul-Haq ran through the Balochistan batting with a four-wicket haul, conceding 18 runs in his four over spell. Mohammad Imran and Zulfiqar Babar took two wickets each while two batsmen were dismissed run out. Fahad Iqbal (22) and Gulraiz Sadaf (21) were the only two Balochistan batsmen to offer some resistance. Southern Punjab chased down the target in 15.5 overs for the loss of three wickets. Openers Mukhtar Ahmed (29) and Zeeshan Ashraf (25) added 47 for the first wicket. Muhammad Mohsin 18 not out and Naveed Yasin 11 not out took Southern Punjab home, Atif Jabbar took two wickets for Balochistan. SB Report FAISALABAD:-Imam-ul-Haq’s half-century and Akif Javed’s three-fer secured a seven-wicket win for Balochistan against Southern Punjab in the ninth match of the ongoing National T20 Cup at Iqbal Stadium, Faisalabad on Thursday. Balochistan captain Haris Sohail decided to bowl first after winning the toss and the decision produced the desired results for his side immediately with young pacer Akif removing Shan Masood and Mohammad Hafeez in the first over of the match. The left-arm pacer struck again in the death overs, accounting for Aamer Yamin’s wicket. In his four overs, Akif took three wickets for 16 runs. Sohaib Maqsood and Wahab Riaz were the two batsmen who put up a fight with the bat and helped Southern Punjab to a respectable score of 144 for seven. Sohaib scored a 34-ball 35, while Wahab’s batting form continued as the 34-year-old cracked 31 runs from 17 balls with three fours and a six. Balochistan got off to a solid start thanks to a well-crafted 51 off 39 by Imam. The left-handed opener cracked six fours and stitched a 60-run opening stand with Awais Zia (22 off 24) before the latter lost his wicket on the penultimate ball of the ninth over. SB Report LAHORE:-Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has appointed former Test spinner Nadeem Khan as Coordinator – National Selection Committee on Thursday. According to media department of PCB, Nadeem will act as a bridge between chief selector Misbah-ul-Haq and the six selectors by gathering feedback, information and maintaining players’ profile from the domestic matches, and presenting to the selection committee so that the data can be used in their decision-making. Nadeem will neither be part of the national selection committee nor will have a say in selection matters. Part of Nadeem’s responsibilities will require domestic traveling, watching local matches, keeping a track and preparing reports on high-performing players, and speaking with the six city association coaches on a regular basis. PCB Chief Executive Wasim Khan said: “We are pleased to confirm the appointment of Nadeem Khan and welcome him to the PCB family. Nadeem is one of the most respected cricketers and is admired for his overall cricket knowledge, insight of domestic cricket and ability to speak openly, frankly and honestly. “When we had unveiled Misbah-ul-Haq as chief selector and head coach, we had stated we will provide all necessary support to allow Misbah to fulfill his responsibilities and achieve his objectives and targets. Unseeded Soo Ha Jang (KOR) caused a major upset when she eliminated 3rd Seed Arina Valitova (RUS) in a well contested, well fought two sets match. In the first set, Arina Valitova built up the lead 3-1 by breaking 3rd game  of Soo Ha Jang (KOR) , she leveled the score 5-5 all by breaking 10th game of Arina and won the 1st set at 7-5 by breaking the last game of Arina at 0-40 in which Arina hitting one double fault. In the second set there was close contest and long rallies was witnessed during the set and secore went up to 4-4all and both the players hold their respective serve. Soo Ha once again played some fine down the line shorts and won the second set at 6-4 by breaking 10th game of Arina and moved into the Girls Singles final.  In the other semi final Aysegul Mert (TUR) was in excellent touch and eliminated her opponents in straight sets 6-4, 6-1. SB Report ISLAMABAD-A delegation of Pakistan Tennis Federation (PTF), comprising Mr. Salim Saifullah Khan, President PTF, Senator Dilawar Abbas Vice President Asian Tennis Federation (ATF) and Tariq Murtaza, President Islamabad Tennis Association (ITA), will be visiting Bangalore, India, to attend the Annual General Meeting of ATF, which will be taken place at Bangalore, India, from November 29 to December 1, 2019. The President PTF, while commenting on the ATF AGM said, "Pakistan delegation is proceeding to India, because we feel that sports should be above the politics and in this spirit the Indian Davis Cup Tennis team should visit Islamabad for the Davis Cup Tie between Pakistan and India at the end November 2019.The Indian team would be provided all possible hospitality and security during the visit. The security arrangements of PTF have already been approved by ITF requirements. We have already hosted several Davis Cup teams during the past two years and the arrangements were highly appreciated by ITF Officials who visited Islamabad supervising the ties, " he maintained. It is pertinent to mention here that the current visit of the members of Royal family of United Kingdom and this clearly signified that the security situation in the country is of high standard. 

Abdullah Asjad ISLAMABAD:-Pakistan Under-19 cricket team will leave for Beijing, China, on Wednesday evening to play friendly matches against the home and Afghanistan Under-19 squads. The 12-player squad will be captained by Mohammad Harris Khan, while Saim Ayub will be his vice-captain. Pakistan U19 team will play China on Saturday, 19 October and Afghanistan on Sunday, 20 October. A combined Afghanistan and Pakistan side will play China on Wednesday, 23 October. Pakistan squad will return home on Thursday, 24 October. The tour has been has been arranged by the Chinese government and the purpose of these matches is to strengthen the mutual communication, understanding and friendship between China, Afghanistan and Pakistan. Sports Bulletin Report FAISALABAD-Sindh beat Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) by eight runs and secured their second win in the ongoing National T20 Cup at Faisalabad’s Iqbal Stadium. The Asad Shafiq-led side scored 176 runs for the loss of six wickets after they were asked to bat. The opening pair of Khurram Manzoor and Ahsan Ali provided a solid foundation with an 83-run opening stand in 10.1 overs. The partnership ended with the dismissal of Khurram, who scored 35 off 32 with five fours. But, Ahsan kept going from the other end and cracked a brilliant 37-ball 64, hitting eight fours and three sixes. The 25-year-old was later named man-of-the-match. One-drop batsman Saad Ali was the other notable scorer with 20 off 18. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa had used five bowlers and all picked up a wicket each. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa wobbled earlier in the chase as they were 48 for three in 5.5 overs due to two back-to-back wickets of Fakhar Zaman (15 off 11) and Mohammad Mohsin, who registered a golden duck, off Mohammad Hasnain’s bowling in the fifth over of the innings. Sports Bulletin Report KARACHI-Khyber Pakhtunkhwa recorded their first win in the National T20 2nd XI tournament at the National Stadium, Karachi on Wednesday. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa who had lost their opening two matches outplayed hosts Sindh by six wickets, this was Sindh’s first defeat in the tournament. Central Punjab, who like Khyber Pakhtunkhwa had lost their first two matches, won their first match of the event, overcoming Balochistan by 57 runs.   In the first match on Wednesday, Sindh were put into bat by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the home side scored 169 for six in their 20 overs. Middle-order batsmen Mohammad Waqas (36) and Ramiz Aziz (34) were the main contributors. Danish Aziz scored an unbeaten 26 off 15 balls with the help of three fours and one six. Sajid Khan took two wickets for 28 runs. Gohar Ali’s 28-ball 49 and Nabi Gul’s 44 took Khyber Pakhtunkhwa past the target in 17.2 overs. Gohar hit two sixes and six fours in his innings while Nabi continued his impressive form in the tournament with a 28-ball effort that included four fours and one six. Left-arm pacer Ghulam Muddasar took three wickets for 31 runs for Sindh. Central Punjab opted to bat first and posted 198 for six.
