Pakistan defeated Nepal 2-1 to secure a place in the Top 8.
Seeded 6th in the event, Pakistan topped their group (F) after a strong performance in the group stage and successfully qualified for the quarterfinals (last 8).
The decisive doubles match showcased remarkable fighting spirit by the Pakistani girls. They won the first set convincingly 6-0. In the second set, they were trailing 1-3 but made a strong comeback to win it 6-4, sealing the tie 2-1 in Pakistan’s favor.
