ISLAMABAD: Pakistan number one tennis man Aqeel Khan and Pakistan number one tennis woman Sarah Mehboob Khan have lifted the men’s singles and women’s singles titles respectively of the 8th Serena Hotels National Ranking Tennis Championships 2023 by defeating Mohammad Shoaib 2-1, and Mehak Khokhar 2-0 in the finals here at the PTF-SDA Tennis Complex on Sunday.
Aziz Boolani CEO of Serena Hotels was the chief guest at the closing ceremony. Senator Salim Saifullah Khan President-PTF was the guest of honour at this occasion. The closing ceremony was also attended by Gul Rehman Secretary-General, Imran Hassan (Director/S&M/TPS) Serena Hotels, Hina Nazir Serena Hotels, Mohammad Saleem Marwat President-KP Tennis Association, Arif Qureshi Seretary-ITA and a large number of players, and coaches.
The Championships was supervised by Shahzad Akhtar Alvi -ITF White Badge Referee.

Men’s Singles: Aqeel Khan beat Mohammad Shoaib 6-3, 1-6, 6-2
Ladies’ Singles: Sarah Mahboob Khan beat Meheq Khaokhar 6-3, 6-2
Boys’ U14 Single: Amir Mohammad Khan Mazari beat Abdul Basit 7-5, 5-7, 7-5
