ISLAMABAD: Pakistan number one tennis pair Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi and Aqeel Khan have won the title of Men’s Double event of the 8th Serena Hotels National Ranking Tennis Championships after thrashing Baratullah and Yousaf Khalil in straight sets 2-0 in the final at the PTF-SDA Tennis Complex, Islamabad on Saturday. Ahmed Nael Qureshi outplayed Mohammad Hamza Aasim 2-0 in the Under-18 final with the score-line of 6-3, and 6-2 to lift the title.
Sarah Mahbbob and Meheq Khokhar set to meet in the Ladies’ Singles final after defeating their respective opponents in the semifinals. The final will be played on Sunday at 10:00 am. The men’s singles final will be played between Pakistan number one Aqeel Khan and Pakistan number 2 Mohammad Shoaib afternoon at the same venue.
