Hameed-ul-Haq to play two international tournaments

Sports Bulletin ReportISLAMABAD: Former Davis Cupper, Hameed-ul-Haq will represent Pakistan in the upcoming ITF MT700 Assetwise ITF Masters Championship Pattaya, which will kick off on November 18, 2023 and ITF MT400 at Greta Sport Club ITF Master III Pattaya, which will start on November 25, 2023 in Pattaya, Thailand.Assetwise ITF Masters Championship Pattaya will be held from 18 November to 24 November 2023 on Synthetic Hard Courts at the Royal Cliff Hotel, Fitz Club - Pattaya, while the Greta Sport Club ITF Master III Championship will be held from 25 November to 01 December 2023 on Synthetic Hard Courts at the Greta Resort, and Sport Club, Pattaya. Hameed will participate in the seniors’ 60+ singles, doubles, and mixed doubles competitions.It is pertinent to mention that the last month, Hameed toppled the tournament second seeded Indian player Dillip Singh Nongmaithem 2-0 in the 60+ Category final of the International Tennis Federation (ITF) seniors’ Tennis Championship 2023 at Greta Sports Club Pattaya, Thailand. The final score-line was 6-0, 6-0.

The final score-line was 6-2, 6-3.Ahmad Nael Qureshi is the only remaining Pakistani in the Boy's Singles event, after comfortably beating Toki Adachi from Japan in straight sets. ITF Junior Tennis: Saad Hamid stuns Japanese lad Taichi 2-1

All foreign female players reach the Girls’ Singles quarterfinalsSports Bulletin ReportISLAMABAD: The 6th local tennis lad, Seed Hamid Israr Gul outclassed Taichi Tamura from Japan 2-1 in the second round of the Boys’ Singles fixture of the ITF Pakistan J30 World Junior Tennis Championships-II here at PTF-SDA Tennis Complex on Tuesday.In the first set, both the players played a defensive game strategy by holding their own serve 5-5 games. In the 12th game, Hamid made some unforced errors and hit the ball into the net, which resulted in losing the first set at 5-7. In the second set, Hamid Israr changed the game plan and played his own natural game by hitting down the line and cross-court shots and building up the winning lead 5-1. After losing the 8th game Hamid again made some unforced errors but managed to settle in the next game and won the second set at 6-3 and levelled the match one set all. In the decisive set, Hamid Israr did not allow his opponent to settle down and build up the winning streak 4-1. Unseeded Hamza Roman thrashes third seed Bilal Asim 2-1 in three sets thrillerSports Bulletin ReportISLAMABAD: Unseeded upcoming youngster Hamza Roman of Pakistan toppled third seed and hot favorite compatriot Bilal Asim in a major upset in a thrilling three sets match of the ITF Pakistan J30 World Junior Tennis Championships at PTF-SDA Tennis Complex, Islamabad on Monday.Hamza Roman after losing the 1st game by hitting a double fault and down 0-1 played aggressive tennis and broke back the 2nd game of Bilal Asim in the same style and levelled the game score 1-1. Hamza continued his winning pace and broke the 4th and 6th game of Bilal Asim and won the first set comfortably 6-1.In the second set, Bilal Asim changed the pattern of the game by playing a blend of cross-court, and down the line shots, and serve and volley games. Both the players exhibited an excellent game of tennis and reached 4-4. At this stage Hamza Roman made some unforced errors and hit the ball into the net resulting in losing the 10th game and 2nd set at 4-6.In the decisive set, both the players showed a sparking and standard of tennis and long rallies ultimately finished in favour of Hamza Roman at 7-5. ITF Pakistan Juniors Leg-1: Kamonpanyakorn Thadapong wins title

Sports Bulletin ReportISLAMABAD: Thai tennis teenager tennis player, Kamonpanyakorn Thadapong has won the title of the ITF Pakistan Juniors Leg-1 Tennis Championships 2023 after beating Yoshito Oda from Japan 2-0 in a single-sided affair at PTF-SDA Tennis Complex Islamabad on Saturday. The final score-line was 6-4, and 6-1.Earlier, in the Girls’ Singles final, Saajida Razick from Sri Lanka beat Viktoriia Sedova from Russia 2-1 in a well-contested three sets final, the final score-line was 6-4, 2-6, and 6-2 and won the Championship.Yerzhan Kistafin Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Pakistan was the chief guest at the closing ceremony. The closing ceremony was also attended by Saeed Ahmad Khan SVP-PTF, Gul Rehman Secretary-General-PTF, and a large number of players, coaches, parents, and tennis lovers.The main draw matches of the 2nd leg will commence on Monday (November 13) at the same venue.
