CNS Amateur Golf Championship: Rizwan maintains lead on Day II
Sports Bulletin ReportISLAMABAD: In the Senior Category, Rizwan Rashid of Margalla Green Golf Club (MGGC) maintained his lead on the second day of the 16th Chief of Naval Staff (CNS) Amateur Golf Championship 2023 at MGGC Islamabad on Friday. His (Rizwan) score was 154 after completing 36 36-hole games, as Mohammad Aslam Khan was still crawling behind him with a 158 gross score at the end of day 2.Also, Ami Qin exhibited an excellent game of golf and was on top of the score sheet with a score of 162 in the Ladies’ competitions. Zaibun Nisa (166) reached on second spot, as she was third on the opening day. Ana James Gill was on third position with a score of 167.

Eight teams to participate in national fixture: Opening ceremony at Shalimar groundAbdul Jabbar FaisalISLAMABAD: The 14th National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) T-20 Blind Cricket Trophy Grade-1 will get underway from November 13, 2023 at Shalimar cricket ground under the banner of Pakistan Blinds’ Cricket Council (PBCC). The final will be played on November 17 at the same venue.According to an official of PBCC, Eight top teams across the country will fight for the title during the 5-day prestigious blind cricket fixture. Teams have been divided into two pools, as the matches will be played at Shalimar Cricket Ground Margalla Road F-6/3 Islamabad and Pakistan Air Force (PAF) Cricket Ground E-9 Islamabad.The inauguration ceremony will take place on Monday at 11:00 AM at Shalimar Cricket Stadium Margalla Road F-6/3 Islamabad. Exhibition polo match: Lexington Club and Lahore Club play a 5-5 draw
Sports Bulletin ReportLAHORE: An exhibition match between Lexington Polo Club of Kentucky and Lahore Polo Club played here at the Lahore Polo Club on Wednesday and after a tough competition, the enthralling encounter ended in a 5-5 draw.This was the first match of the two exhibition match series that is the part of the ongoing Lipton Polo Cup 2023. From team Lexington Polo Club, William G Boland and Jorge Antonio Vasquez contributed with two goals each while Michael Lawrence Frank struck the remaining one goal. From Lahore Polo Club team, Alman Jalil Azam and Faisal Shehzad converted two goals each while Taimur Mawaz pumped in the remaining one. The second exhibition match will be played on Saturday.Meanwhile, on the other hand, two important matches will be played in Lipton Polo Club today (Thursday). The players of the visiting American team met President Lahore Polo Club Malik Azam Hayat Noon and executive committee members of the club, and expressed their delight of playing at such a historic polo ground. “We have come here from America to play polo on the invitation of Lahore Polo Club. It's great to be here and play polo on a historic polo ground,” they added.
