Futsal News: Greet Hazar, Hazara Quetta qualify for men’s final
Sports Bulletin ReportQuetta:-Greet Hazar, and Hazara Quetta reached in the men’s final of the National Futsal Cup Phase II after beating their respective rivals in Aghil Futsal Arena, Quetta.Baluchistan Education Board (BEB) crushed Tiger Raisani 6-3 in the first quarterfinal of men’s event while Great Hazara overcame Hazara Club 4-3 in the second quarterfinal. Buitems Football Club overpowered Jhalawaan Quetta 4-1 in the penultimate quarterfinal of the tournament. However, in the last fixture, Hazara Quetta stunned 10-3 against Gull Hazara with a big margin of 7 goals, as the final score was 10-3.Later, in the first semi-final, Great Hazara defeated Baluchistan Education Board 8-3 while Hazara Quetta outclassed Buitems Football Club 10-3 in the second semi-final. In the women's first semi-final, Hazara Club beat Baluchistan Women Academy 2-1 while Hazara Quetta Academy, in the second semi-final, beat Hazara United Football Club 3-0.

Sri Lanka Sports Minister Ranasinghe calls on Minister IPC Ehsaan Mazari
Sports Bulletin ReportISLAMABAD:-The Sports Minister of Sri Lanka Roshan Ranasinghe called on Minister of Inter-Provincial  Coordination (IPC) Ehsaan ur Rahman Mazari at his office on Thursday.Accordin to an official of IPC ministry, a meeting was held between the Sports Minister of Sri Lanka Roshan Ranasinghe, and Minister of IPC Pakistan Ehsaan ur Rahman Mazari here on Thursday. The Legendary Sri Lankan Cricket Arjuna Ranatunga and the Secretary Sports Ministry of Sri Lanka were also present at the occasion. Both Ministers discussed matters of Mutual interest regarding sports. Federal Minister for IPC offered support to Sri Lankan Minister for the provision of coaches in the field of sports like hockey Squash, and Kabbadi. “We can deepen our existing relationship between people to people, “said Mazari.Sri Lankan Minister appreciated Pakistan’s cooperation in the field of sports especially the provision of Rs. 52.000 million for the development of sports. Both Ministers agreed to improve ties between both governments by implementing the existing Memorandum of Understanding (MoUs) and signing new MoUs and exploring new avenues of cooperation.

Netball News: Thailand beat Pakistan 68-34 in Asian Youth Event
Sports Bulletin ReportJeonju (South Korea):-Thailand defeated Pakistan 68-34 in a match of the Asian Youth Girls Netball Championship, which is going on in Jeonju, South Korea.In the first match of the second day of the championship, Thailand overpowered Pakistan by 6-8-34. On behalf of Pakistan, Ayman scored 26 points, Muqadas scored five and Mahin scored one. Pakistan will play their third match against Hong Kong on June 12, fourth match against Malaysia on June 13, and fifth match against India on June 14.

Netball News: Pakistan women’s Netball team arrive in Korea
Sports Bulletin ReportSeoul (South Korea):-The Pakistan women’s netball team arrived here on Friday to participate in the Asian Youth Girls Netball Championship, which will be played from June 10 to 17, 2023 in South Korea.Teams from 11 countries will fight for the top honour, as the teams have been divided into two Pools. Eleven countries are participating in the championship, which have been divided into two groups. Pakistan is in Group A along with Malaysia, Hong Kong, Thailand, India, and Japan. Singapore, Sri Lanka, Brunei, Taiwan, and hosts Korea are in Group B.

International bikers with “Peace Message” arrive in Islamabad
Abdul Jabbar FaisalISLAMABAD:-The international bikers with a “Peace Message arrived in the capital city Islamabad on Thursday and will leave for the next destination Northern Areas en route on Karakoram Highway on Friday morning.A convoy of 33 persons arrived here on Thursday morning, as they entered Pakistan territory from Iran to Quetta, as they were traveling after 25 years in the same way. They rested here and are planning to resume their journey on Friday morning.They have seven bikes and drivers change their driving seats and pillion each other during the long journey. The bikers belong to Iran and Malaysia to spread the message of peace in 16 countries. Finally, they will enter India on June 13, 2023, via Wagha Border.They will also visit the beautiful areas of Pakistan including Gilgit, Sakurdo, and other historical places, which attract foreign tourists. “Pakistan is a beautiful place and here the people love foreigners and say welcome to all staying spots. Our message is only peace. Here local authorities also helped us and said a warm welcome to all members of the contingent, “said a biker.

Pakistan take on arch-rival India on June 14, PSB issues NOC to players and officialsSports Bulletin ReportKARACHI:-Pakistan women’s netball team will leave for South Korea on June 8, to participate in the Asian Youth Netball Championship, which will be played from June 10 to 17, 2023 in South Korea, as Hamna Khan will lead the national side.According to an official of the Pakistan Netball Federation (PNF), the Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) has issued the No Objection Certificate (NOC) to participants including players and officials. A 9-member national team including Hamna Khan (Captain), Haya Gul, Zainab Shujaat, Areesha, Aimen Mehmood, Alveera Kashif, Zainab Raheel, Muqaddas Fatima, and Mahin Aleem will visit South Korea.Anwar Ahmed Ansari and Nisha Sultan will accompany the team as coach and assistant coach. A tree-plantation drive organized by POA at KPT Sports Complex
Sports Bulletin ReportKARACHI:-On the occasion of World Environment Day celebrated around the world, a tree- plantation ceremony was organized at KPT Sports Complex in collaboration with Pakistan Olympic Association (POA) Environment Commission and Karachi Port Trust.Sarwat Gilani, a well-known actress of Pakistan Television (PTV), Special Olympic Pakistan Chairperson Ronak Lakhani, Environment Commission Member Tehmina Asif, Karachi Port Trust (KPT) Manager Sports Major (Rtd) Mehmood Riaz, and other guests planted saplings along with special children on this eve. PTV actress, Sarwat Gilani said:“The increasing environmental pollution is gradually strengthening its grip on our environment. If special attention is not paid to the protection of the city, the harmful effects of pollution will increase shortly. The efforts of the POA Environment Commission for the elimination of environmental pollution, and appeal to the public to do more to achieve a happy and healthy society free from density”.Chairperson of Special Olympic Pakistan, Ronak Lakhani, said:“A pollution-free environment is key for every field including sports. A healthy environment ensures a healthy mind and healthy body and as such we should make efforts both collectively and individually to contribute to drives aimed at controlling pollution.”Tehmina Asif said:“Around 55% of the waste collected in our country daily includes plastic, which is mostly burned and the smoke that rises is very dangerous for human life. Pollution is also very harmful to our aquatic and marine life and also the economy because the employment of millions of fishermen is related to it. We have to protect our sea as well as the land. It is necessary to play our full individual and collective role to protect our water resources and eliminate marine pollution”.Major (retd) Mehmood Riaz said:“KPT is taking great measures to reduce environmental pollution. There should also be a collective effort and every citizen has to be responsible for pollution by any of his actions. Along with talking about the problems, there should also be individual and collective efforts to solve them. Every citizen must be responsible for their actions which cause pollution”.

Futsal News: SA Garden, MRF become champions
Sports Bulletin ReportLAHORE:-SA Gardens and MRF won the titles of the first PFF Men’s and Women’s National Futsal Cup 2023 at SA Gardens Futsal Field Lahore on Sunday night.In the men's final, Hamza scored the first goal for SA Gardens in the first half, making the scoreboard 1-0. However, Yousaf from LA equalized the score 1-1in the second half, as both finalists retained same score till the final whistle. Asif scored an excellent goal for SA Gardens in extra time to guide his team to historical victory. The final score was 2-1.Earlier, in the women’s final, MRF defeated TWK 5-2 to claim the title of national futsal showpiece. In the first half, Anmol Hira and Ghazala scored a goal each for MRF, putting them in a comfortable 2-0 lead. They maintained their momentum in the second half, with both players scoring another goal each for MRF. However, Dua and Samavia from TWK fought back and scored a goal each trying to equalize the game. But Anmol Hira displayed her exceptional skills once again, completing a hat trick and securing the win for MRF.
