Pakistan Junior Amateur Golf Championship Concludes in Multan

Multan (Sports News): The 15th Pakistan Junior Amateur Golf Championship (Faldo Series Trials) concluded at Rumanza Golf & Country Club, Multan, under the auspices of the Pakistan Golf Federation (PGF). The championship featured a practice round on 5th February 2026, followed by a 54-hole stroke play competition from 6th to 8th February 2026.

The event attracted junior golfers from across Pakistan and was contested in Junior Boys Under-16, Junior Boys Under-21, Junior Girls Under-16, Junior Girls Under-21, along with an Invitational Category. The tournament was conducted strictly in accordance with international standards.

In preparation for international competition, the Pakistan Golf Federation set up course conditions at Rumanza to closely replicate those the Faldo Series Asia Grand Final course in Vietnam, enabling players to experience championship-level conditions including green speeds, pin placements, and course firmness.

After three highly competitive rounds, Saad Habib Malik claimed the Overall Championship Title with an exceptional score of 204 (-12).

The top performers of the championship will represent Pakistan abroad at international Faldo Series events, while runners-up received medals and certificates in recognition of their achievements.

The championship was conducted under the supervision of the Pakistan Golf Federation, with Malik Mohammad Kamran, Manager PGF, serving as Tournament Director. The closing and prize distribution ceremony was graced by Brigadier Kashif, Project Director, as chief guest, who appreciated the high standard of play and the Federation’s commitment to junior golf development.
