ISLAMABAD:-Pakistan’s top squash player, Tayyab Aslam, Asim Khan and Mohammad Ashab Irfan Khan have won their matches in the Karachi Open Squash Championship 2022 at Roshan Khan & Jehangir Khan Squash Complex Karachi on Tuesday.

World No 60 guy, Asim Khan came from behind and overpowered World No. 42 3-2 after going down 0-2 and 8-10 at the one stage of the third game that he finished 12-10 and bounced back in the match. He kept the same pressure in the next two games and win in similar style 11-8 and 11-8, as the match wasted 62 minutes. The final score-line was 9-11, 6-11, 12-10, 11-8 and 11-8.

World No. 221 Mohammad Ashab Irfan, who got the entry with wild card, toppled high ranked World No. 48 Spanish lad Bernat Jaume 3-1 with the score-line of 8-11, 11-9, 13-11, 11-7. Pakistan top national & World No. 52 Tayyab Aslam overcame his opponent Yahya Elnawasany World No. 55 3-1 to move next round of prestigious squash fixture of the world. The final score-line was 10-12, 11-9, 11-9 13-11.
