PESHAWAR:-Jadoon Khan of Abbottabad has won the title of Tent Pegging competition that held under the auspices of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Sports Department, for the first time in the history of Peshawar. Nematullah Khan of Karak grabbed the second position while Azhar Nawaz Khan claimed third.
Special guests on the occasion were Director General Sports Khalid Khan, accompanied by Director Finance Tariq Khan, Director Operations Azizullah Jan, Deputy Director Operations Jamshed Baloch, Shah Faisal Afridi, Assistant Director Hamid Khan, Assistant Director Ashfaq Ahmed.
Administrative Officer Irshad Khan, Zakirullah and Organizing Secretary Wahid Bakhsh among others were also present on the occasion. Horse riders from different areas of Attock, Fateh Jang, Faisalabad, Multan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa participated in the competitions.
In individual event, Khan Jadoon Khan of Abbottabad bagged the first position, Nematullah Khan of Karak bagged the second position and Azhar Nawaz Khan bagged the third position. Led by Khan, Al-Kabeer Awan Club Bannu bagged the first position, Baba Shangla Club bagged the second position and Abdalin Haris Hussain Club bagged the third position in team event.
