PPFL 2021-22: WAPDA reach on top at points table
Mohammad Kabir Rawalpindi (October 26, 2021):-Pakistan WAPDA reached on top at the points table of the 13th Pakistan Premier Football League (PPFL), while Pakistan Air Force (PAF) and Khan Research Laboratories (KRL) are ranked second and third respectively. According to the details, the second phase of the 13th Pakistan Premier Football League is underway at the Municipal Stadium, Rawalpindi with matches being played day and night. According to the points table of the league, Pakistan WAPDA team was at the first position with 19 points which was now played 8 matches, won six matches, drawn one match and lost one match. The teams of Pakistan Air Force and Khan Research Laboratories have played nine matches each, Pakistan Air Force and Khan Research Laboratories are in the second and third position with 17 points and 16 points respectively. Pakistan Air Force won five matches, drew two matches and lost two matches, Khan Research Laboratories won four matches, drew four matches and lost one match. Sui Southern Gas Company team is in the fourth position with 15 points. Twelve teams from across the country are participating in the league, including Defending Champion Khan Research Laboratories (KRL), Pakistan Army, Sui Southern Gas Company, Pakistan Air Force, Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (PCAA),Muslim Club Chaman, Pakistan Navy, Pakistan WAPDA, Sui Northern Gas Pipelines, Lyallpur FC, Karachi United and Huma Club Islamabad. The matches of the league were not played due to rain on Sunday and Monday. Wednesday’s Matches: Lyallpur Club, Faisalabad Vs Huma Club Islamabad at 3.00 p.m SSGC vs SNGPL at 6.00 p.m.

PPFL 2021: Huma Club thrash Muslim Club 5-0
Areej Fatima RAWALPINDI (October 24, 2021):-Huma Club, Islamabad thrashered Muslim Club Chman 5-0 goals in the 13th Pakistan Premier Football League (PPFL) 2021 at Municipal Stadium Rawlpindi. Huma Club took 2-0 lead at the end of the first half against Muslim Club. Khaleeq uz Zaman made his first hat-trick in the league for Huma Club. In the 20th minute of the first half, Khaleeq ur Zaman scored first goal for Huma Club and he doubled the score 2-0 in the injury time of the first half. Third goal was also scored by Khaleeq in the 60th minute and did score 3-0 while Sardar Abbas and Maihan Ali scored one goal each for Huma Club in the 83rd and injury time of the second half. The match was concluded 5-0 at the end of the stipulated time. Qudrat Ullah received yellow card for Muslim Club in the 60th minute and the same was earned by Maab Ullah for Huma Club in the same time. PPFL 2021: Muslim Club beat Layallpur Club 4-3
Sports Reporter Rawalpindi (October 21, 2021):-Muslim Club Chman beat Layallpur Club Faisalabad 4-3 goals in the 13th Pakistan Premier Football League (PPFL) 2021 at Municipal Stadium here. Muslim Club took  2-0 lead at the end of the first half. In the 26th minute Hanif scored first goal for Muslim Club and Abdul Qahir doubled the margin 2-0 in the 37th minute. Sager reduced the margin 2-1 for Lyallpur in the 71st minute. Qahir scored third goal for Muslim Club and did the score 3-1 in the 74th minute. Usman Mirza scored two goal for Lyallpur Club in the 78th and 83rd minute and equalized the scorer 3-3 goals. The last goal of the match was scored by Hanif for Muslim Club in the injury time of the second half. Muslim Club won the match 4-3 goals in the stipulated time. Shahram Babar received yellow card for Lyallpur Club in the injury time. Referee Shahid Hassan supervised the match, which were assisted by Mehboob Ali and Ahsan Ullah. Asmat Ullah acted as match Commissioner. Friday’s Fixtures: Pakistan Navy will face Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority.

PPFL: PAF and Navy clinch victories
Mohammad Kabir RAWALPINDI (October 20, 2021):-Pakistan Air Force(PAF) and Pakistan Navy have won their matches after beating their opponents in the 13th Pakistan Premier Football League (PPFL) at Municipal Stadium Rawalpindi. In the first match, PAF defeated Karachi United 3-0 goals. Two teams fought well and were engaged 0-0 at the end of the first half. In the 53rd minute Waleed scored the first goal for PAF and just after one minute, Mujahid doubled the score 2-0. The third goal was scored by Mansoor in the last of the scheduled time. Referee showing yellow card to Azan of Karachi United for playing foul in the 79th minute. The match was locked 3-0 at the end of the stipulated times. In the 2nd match Pakistan Navy beat Huma Club, Islamabad 4-3 goals. Huma Club took a 3-2 lead against Pakistan Navy at the end of the first half. In the 22nd minute of the first half, Ibrahim scored the first goal for Huma Club and Waheed doubled the margin 2-0 in the 29th minute. Noman reduced the margin 2-1 in the 40th minute for Pakistan Navy. The third goal was scored by Ibrahim for Huma Club in the 45th minute and Adeel again reduced the score 3-2 for Pakistan Navy in the injury time of the first half. The third and fourth goals were scored by Noman and Rizwan for Pakistan Navy in the 64th and 67th minutes respectively. At the end of the scheduled times, Pakistan Navy took 4-3 lead. Abdul Wahid received a yellow card for Huma Club in the 69th minute. President, Australian Football League of Pakistan, Sardar Tariq Mehmood was the chief guest on the occasion. PPFL: WAPDA defeat Muslim Club Chman 3-0
SPORTS REPORTER Rawalpindi (October 18, 2021):-Pakistan WAPDA defeated Muslim Club Chman 3-0 goals in the 13th Pakistan Premier Football League (PPFL) match while between Pakistan Army and Sui Southern Gas Company held match was goalless draw at Municipal Stadium Rawalpindi. In the first match, Pakistan WAPDA took 1-0 lead at the end of the first half against Muslim Club. In the 17th minutes of the first half, Shahbaz Tariq scored first goal for Pakistan WAPDA and Ashfaquddin doubled the margin 2-0 in the 49th minutes. Third goal was scored by Ahmad Faheem for Pakistan WAPDA in the 66th minutes. Players of Muslim Club tried to reduce the margin but they could not succeed. The match ended 3-0 in the scheduled times of 90 minutes. Mohsin Ali received the yellow card for Pakistan WAPDA for foul playing. Asmat Ullah acted as match Commissioner. Ahmad Rauf supervised the match while assisted by Mehboob Ali and Yasir Rahman. The second match was played between Pakistan Army and Sui Southern Gas Company  that ended goalless draw. Both teams could not succeed any score in the scheduled times. Adnan Anjum supervised this match, Mehboob Ali and Dilawar Khan were assisted to him. Former international goalkeeper Jamshed Rana presented a prize money of Rs 10,000 to the Goalkeeper of Sui Southern Gas Company, Ehsanullah for showing good performance during the match between Pakistan Army and SSGC, on behalf President, Pakistan Football Federation, Engr. Syed Ashfaq Hussain Shah.

PPFL: Karachi United beat Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority 1-0
ABDULLAH ASJAD Rawalpindi (October 17, 2021):-Karachi United beat Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority 1-0 in the 13th Pakistan Premier Football League (PPFL) match at Municipal Stadium Rawalpindi. At the end of the first half, Karachi United took 1-0 lead. In the 41st minutes of the first half, Muhib scored a lone goal for Karachi United. Players of Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority tried their best to equalize the game but could not succeed. Akhtar received yellow card for Karachi United in the 70th minute. The match was ended 1-0 at the stipulated times. Civil Aviation Authority wasted three corners while two were missed by the winning team. Rashid Hafeez Provincial Minister of Punjab for Literacy and Non Formal Basic Education was the chief guest and two teams were introduced to him before starting the match. PPFL: Federation constitutes three committees for Rawalpindi Centre
ABDULLAH ASJAD Rawalpindi (October 16, 2021);-Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) has constituted three different committees for Rawalpindi Centre to run the affairs of Pakistan Premier Football League (PPFL) matches, which are being played at Municipal Stadium, Rawalpindi. President, District Football Association, Rawalpindi, Raja Ishtiaq Ahmed and Taimoor Kayani will be the Chairman and Coordinator of the Local Organizing Committee respectively. According to Secretary General, Pakistan Football Federation, Mohammad Naveed Akram, the following committees were made namely, Local Organizing Committee, Technical Committee and Ground Committee; Local Organizing Committee; Chairman, Raja Ishtiaq Ahmed; Deputy Chairman, Chacha Saeed Ahmed; Coordinator, Taimoor Kayani and other members are Raja Masood Ahmed, Syed Zakir Hussain Naqvi, Tahir Qureshi, Ch. Amjad Ali, Zahid Shah, Nasir Kayani, Muhammad Javed, Hafiz Waqar, Imran Khan, Islam uddin, Ashraf Balti and Malik Javed. Technical Committee; Chairman, Wazir Mohammad and other members are Zulfiqar Ahmed Cheema, Chman Khan and ZararMehmood Pirzada. Ground Committee; Chairman Khurram Farooqui and other members are Mohammad Idress, Mohammad Saddam Ali and Mohammad Haris Mushtaq.

PPFL second phase starts from October 14
ABDULLAH ASJAD Rawalpindi (October 12, 2021):-The 2nd phase of Pakistan Premier Football League (PPFL) will kick off from October 14 at Rawalpindi while the 3rd phase will commence at Peshawar from November 9, 2021, the first match will be played between Pakistan Air Force (PAF) and Khan Research Laboratories (KRL) at Rawalpindi. According to Secretary General, Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) Mohammad Naveed Akram the 2nd phase of PPFL will be played from October 14 to November 6 at  Municipal Stadium, Rawalpindi while the 3rd phase from November 9 to 27 at Peshawar. Earlier, the first phase of the league was played at Multan from August 14 to September 11 and 39 matches were played there while a total of 132 matches of the league will be played. Prizes of Rs. 10 million will be distributed in the league. Twelve teams from across the country will take part in the league including Khan Research Laboratories (KRL), Pakistan Army, Sui Southern Gas Company, Pakistan Air Force, Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority, Muslim Club Chman, Pakistan Navy, Pakistan WAPDA, Sui Northern Gas Pipelines, Lyallpur FC, Karachi United, and Huma Club Islamabad.

Trails for Under-17 Punjab Football Team
SPORTS BULLETIN REPORT LAHORE (September 25, 2021): The Sports Board Punjab (SBP) selection committee, on the directions of Director General Sports Punjab Adnan Arshad Aulakh, conducted trials of Punjab’s Under-17 football team at Punjab Stadium on Saturday. The selected under-17 football team will participate in Inter-Provincial Football Youth Tournament scheduled to be organized in Gilgit Baltistan in the middle of next month. Director General Sports Punjab Adnan Arshad Aulakh visited Punjab Stadium to witness trials of Punjab’s Under-17 football team. He was warmly received upon reaching Punjab Stadium and introduced to all participants of trials. Talking on this occasion, Director General Sports Punjab Adnan Arshad Aulakh said that Sports Board Punjab was providing sufficient opportunities to players of all games. “The SBP selection committee has been directed strictly to choose Punjab Under-17 football team purely on merit”. He said that around 40 players would be selected for the training camp where expert coaches will impart training to camp probables. SBP’s 10-member selection committee headed by Director Sports Hafeez Bhatti conducted trials of around 300 young players from all divisions of the province in groups. The other members of selection committee includes Divisional Sports Officer Sahiwal Faisal Ameer Khan, Divisional Sports Officer Bahawalpur Maqsood ul Hasan, Tariq Maqsood Wattoo, Provincial Football Coach Nasir Mahmood Wahid, Administrator National Hockey Stadium Nasir Malik, football coach Nasir Hussain Shah, Divisional Football Coach Shahzad Asghar, PFF Coach M Idrees and PSO to Punjab Sports Minister Nadeem Sarwar.

PFF extends date for football clubs registration
SPORTS BULLETIN REPORT ISLAMABAD (September 23, 2021):-Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) has extended the date for football clubs registration till October 5, 22021, says a press release of PFF media department. Elections 2022 under the supervision of Pakistan Football Federation has already started online from August 21. Secretary General PFF, Mohammad Naveed Akram said that the first phase of registration was ended on September 20. A large number of Office Bearers of various clubs have verified their office bearers online to PFF. He said that various Office Bearers of different Club requested the Pakistan Football Federation to extend the date of registration. Then the Pakistan Football Federation has decided to extend the date till next month October 5, 2021. PFF has sent SMS to the President and Secretary present in the 2015 voter list through portal. So that he is confirming to his club and officials that they are in place at the moment or that any changes have been made. He is confirming and update on the same SMS. If there is no change in the club officials (president and secretary) and the club, they will be issued a form for renewal of club which has to be filled and submitted online. In the second phase, the club officials will complete the registration process of their club players and inform the Federation. In the third phase, the list of clubs will be released after checking the registration of clubs. The federation will make a final decision on whether to include the club in the voter list after physical scrutiny. Secretary federation said that this was a historical step of Pakistan Football Federation towards free, fair and transparent elections which would not only help in making the 2022 elections transparent and fair, but also make future elections controversial, Instead, it would be acceptable to all and will be helpful and cooperative in promotion of football.
