SB Report AJMAN (November 13, 2019):-Pakistan Blind Cricket Team defeated England by 8 wickets in the 2nd International T-20, which was played today at Ajman Oval Cricket Ground, Ajman on Wednesday.  In the morning, once again Pakistan won the toss and elected to bowl first. Pakistan’s moral with the yesterday victory was high. England top order again failed and Pakistani bowlers, bowled with some serious pace and variation and didn’t allow England middle order to settle in. Badar’s fiery spell left England wobbling at 59 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in first 10 overs. Badar took 3 wickets for 24 runs. Dan Field got out after scoring 5 runs, Sam Murray made 21 runs, Andy Powers and Peter Bulliet couldn’t open their accounts, Hollingsworth scored 5, Nathan Foy was caught at 8 runs, Ed Hossell the English Captain made 18 runs, Ameen sustained for his 14 runs, Jimmy went back to pavilion after making 2 runs, Josh Black scored 6 runs not out and England top scorer was Nathan Jamson, he remained unbeaten on 20 runs. England posted 132 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in their 20 overs. The other wickets takers for Pakistan were Sajid Nawaz and Mohammad Shahzaib, they took 1 wicket each. Pakistan while chasing, lost two early wickets for 16 runs on the board. Sanaullah was caught by wicket keeper after scoring 6 runs while Zafar Iqbal was stumped without opening his account on the very next ball. Jimmy Millard was the bowler who took 2 wickets in one over. Two quick wickets gave England hope to pull things back, but the unbeaten 3rd wicket partnership of 118 runs by Anees Javed and Mohsin Khan turned the table on England. Pakistan hurried to target of 133 runs in just 13.1 overs for the loss of 2 wickets.  Anees Javed made unbeaten 55* runs and Mohsin Khan scored 50*. Pakistan is leading the 6 Match T-20 series by 2-0. The 3rd T20 International will be played under flood lit lights tomorrow at the same ground. Neil Bradshaw, the Disability Operations Manager England and Wales Cricket Board, was the guest of the occasion and gave away man of the match award. SB Report ISLAMABAD:-Pakistan Blind cricket team defeated England by 9 wickets in the first Twenty 20 cricket fixture at Oval Cricket Ground Ajman, United Arabs Emirates (UAE) on Wednesday. Ahmed Amjad Ali, Consul General of Pakistan in Dubai officially inaugurated the series. Before the match, both teams kept one-minute silence in condolence to the sad demise of Anees Javed (Pakistan Team’s former Captain and current player) father who died few days ago. Anees, despite the harsh bolt from the blue joined the team in U.A.E to execute his national duty. In the morning, Pakistan won the toss and elected to bowl first. Muhammad Shahzaib Totally Blind B1 player made his debut. Syed Sultan Shah Chairman PBCC and Consul General of Pakistan in Dubai gave him the debut cap. Pakistani bowlers didn’t allow the English batsmen to play at will. Tight bowling toppled the English batsmen and their wickets kept falling in regular intervals. England team made only 137 runs in 20 overs for the loss of 7 wickets. Peter Bullet and Justin Hollingsworth were their best run getters, they scored 34 runs each. Shahzaib Hyder took 2 wickets, Mohisn Khan, Haroon Khan claimed a wicket a piece. Mohammad Shahzaib the debutant made his impact straight away and bowled England’s dangerous Nathan Foy cheaply. Target of 138 runs, remained a plain ceiling for Pakistani batsmen, Pakistan chased the target in 12.1 overs for the loss of 1 wicket. Muhammad Rashid hit 61 runs off 37 balls and Haroon Khan made 26 runs, he was hit wicket on the bowling on Nathan Foy. Riasat Khan remained unbeaten on 16* runs. Stefan the Chairman of International Deaf Cricket Council was the guest of the occasion and gave away man of the match award. SB Report Dubai (November 10, 2019):-Pakistan and England Blind Cricket Teams arrived in Dubai on Sunday to play a bilateral Blind Cricket series. Pakistan Blind Cricket Council is hosting the home series at neutral venue United Arabs Emirates (UAE) comprising 6 T-20 Internationals. Syed Sultan Shah, Chairman Pakistan Blind Cricket Council welcomed the English team by presenting the traditional flower bouquet. England Team Captain Ed Hossell while talking to the media told that “England Team is well prepared for this series and has done good practice in last few months. Pakistan is a tough opponent and one of the best sides in the World of Blind Cricket. He added Pakistan Team strength is their batting and we have good bowling and fielding unit to restrict them.” John Cook, the Coach of England Blind Cricket Team said in his presser that “They have the combination of young and experienced players, and confident that team is fit to take on the Pakistan side”. Pakistan Blind Cricket Team also arrived in hotel in U.A.E. Nisar Ali Captain of Pakistan Blind Cricket Team was poised to show better results in series. He said “we shall try to give delight to our people whom has been disappointed due to awful performance of   Pakistan’s main stream Cricket Team in recent T-20 matches Vs Sri Lanka and Australia” “We are here to play good cricket and well prepared for this exciting series” Muhammad Jamil, Coach of Pakistan Team said “Pakistan Team is a formidable unit and we trained them hard in the recent conditioning camps, players are eager to perform and ambitious to win”. Syed Sultan Shah, Chairman PBCC, thanked England Blind Cricket Team for the tour and wished to have a pleasant stay here.        

SB Report ISLAMABAD-Islamabad Disable cricket team defeated Abbottabad Disables by only 2 runs in a friendly tie on Tuesday. Islamabad’s captain, Usman Paracha won the toss and elected to bat first. At one stage, Islamabad disables were 41/9, than Usman Ali and Mohammad Afzal score 27 valuable runs and set a target 69 to win for Abbottabad disable cricket team. Adil Abbasi 13, Ali Abbassi 14 and Mohammad Afzal scored 7 runs. Aftab took 3 wickets while Hussain, Rajwali and Hammayun took two wickets each Fawad took one wicket. In reply, Abbottabad disable cricket team 66 all out in 19th over. Salam and Hammayun scored 17 runs each Hussain scored 10 runs. Waqaf Shah and Ali Abbass took 4 wickets each and Hammad Shoukat took two wickets. The chief guest Assistant commissioner Chota Lahore  Tabinda Tariq distributed the prizes among the players. He appreciated the efforts and promote sports activities and especially for these special brave people of our society. We are especially thankful to sports officer Sawabi Tariq Mohammad for making this beautiful event successful.  

  Abdullah Asjad ISLAMABAD-The Chairman, Pakistan Blind Cricket Council (PBCC), Syed Sultan Shah on Monday nominated an Executive Committee of Islamabad Regional Women Blind Cricket Association. The Executive Committee has been nominated for the term of next two years for the development and promotion of Women Blind Cricket in Islamabad Region. The operational area of the Islamabad Regional Association will be Federal Area, KPK, Gilgit-Baltistan, Azad Jammu Kashmir and Rawalpindi Division. Pakistan Blind Cricket Council will form two more Regional Women Blind Cricket Associations named Lahore Regional Women Blind Cricket Association and Karachi Women Blind Cricket Association soon for the development & promotion of Women Blind Cricket in those areas. PBCC as a Pilot Project commenced the Cricket for the visually impaired girls last year (2018), thereafter conducted several Training Camps; icing on the cake was hosting the 1st International Women Blind Cricket Series against Nepal in January-February next year 2020. Now PBCC has decided to constitute Regional Women Blind Cricket Associations for the development of the game at grass-roots level. Executive Committee is comprising Sadaf Huma Haider (president), Sadia Dastagir (vice president), Shahida Shaheen (finance secretary) and Nirma Arif (public relation).
