Asif Abbasi to participate 2 international wheelchair tennis fixtures
Sports Bulletin Report London (UK): The Pakistan number one wheelchair tennis player, Asif Gul Abbasi will take part in a couple of international wheelchair tennis competitions, which will be rolled into action from February 17, 2023, in Bolton, United Kingdom (UK). The first tournament will be held from 17th to 19th February while the second on 21st to 24th February this year 2023. Asif, who has previously won three international tournaments for Pakistan and achieved a career-high world ranking of 82 in October 2018, hopes to gain valuable exposure and experience in international tennis. https://sports-bulletin.com/single?id=4391 Asif Abbasi was the leader of the Pakistani wheelchair tennis team, and his leadership skills have been pivotal in the team's recent success. In March 2022, he led the team to victory against India by 2-1 in the World Team Cup qualifying round in Turkey, a historic moment in the tennis history of Pakistan. The team came fourth out of seven countries in the Asia Oceania group, cementing their position as a competitive team. The Pakistani wheelchair tennis team, comprising Asif Gul Abbasi, Fida Hussain, and Mohammad Ayub, with Khalid Rahmani as the team manager, will be preparing to participate in the Asian qualifying round, which will be taken place in Thailand from 28th February to 3rd March 2023. The team is focused on performing well in this qualification round of the world team and achieving success. They are well-prepared and have been working hard to improve their game in hopes of qualifying for the world team event. The participation of the Pakistani wheelchair tennis team in these international tournaments will certainly enhance the profile of wheelchair tennis in Pakistan and inspire a new generation of tennis players. Asif, the captain of the team, has already accomplished a lot and continues to make Pakistan proud by representing the country at an international level.

ITF Pakistan Junior Tennis: All foreign players reach in semifinals
Mohammad Khalil Ahmed ISLAMABAD: All four overseas tennis lads, Cem Atlamis (TUR), Yuan Lu (CHN), Bugra Ozkoc (TUR) and Kamonpanyakorn Thadpong (THA), moved into the semifinals of the ongoing ITF Pakistan PPL-Syed  Dilawar Abbas World Junior Tennis Championships after defeating their rivals in men’s singles at PTF-SDA Tennis Complex Islamabad on Wednesday. Yerzhan Kistafin Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan and to Pakistan visited PTF Complex today to witness some of the matches. He appreciated the high standard of tennis and also interacted with players and parents from his home country Kazakhstan and other countries. The PTF extends its gratitude to Ambassador for his regular visits to PTF Complex to witness such international and national events. ITF Junior Pakistan Tennis: 4 local players move into next round
Abdul Jabbar Faisal ISLAMABAD: As many as four local tennis players and eight foreign players have moved into the second round of the ITF Pakistan World Junior Tennis Championships Leg-2 after winning their respective matches here at garden Avenue at PTF-SDA Tennis Complex on Monday. Mohammad Huzaifa Khan, Mahatir Mohammad, Bilal Asim Khan, and Huzaima Abdul Rehman posted all straight sets victories in the first round. Mahatir had to toil hard on the court to overcome his opponent in a thriller two sets contest. The final score-line was 7-6 and 6-3. Sports Bulletin Report ISLAMABAD: Yuan Lu from China beat Cem Atlamis from Tureky 2-1 in the final of the ITF Pakistan Juniors Tennis Championships leg-1 at PTF-SDA Tennis Complex Islamabad on Saturday. The final score-line was 3-6, 6-3, and 6-4. A  Large number of foreign players (boys and girls) from Turkey, Russia, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Thailand, UK, Malaysia, Romania, Singapore, China, Poland, South Korea, Canada and Pakistan participated in the leg-1 event. Iftikhar Rashid acting President-PTF was the chief guest at the closing ceremony. He distributed the prizes amongst the winners and runner-ups and congratulated all the players. The ceremony was also graced by Saeed Ahmad Khan SVP-PTF, and large number of players, parents and coaches.
