The final score-line was 6-2, 6-3.Ahmad Nael Qureshi is the only remaining Pakistani in the Boy's Singles event, after comfortably beating Toki Adachi from Japan in straight sets. Lahore to host National Men’s Basketball Championship 2023
Sports Bulletin ReportLAHORE: The National Men’s Basketball Championship 2023 will be held from November 20 to 24 at the Government College University Lahore under the banner of the Pakistan Basketball Federation (PBBF).According to the Pakistan Basketball Federation (PBBF) Secretary General Khalid Bashir, top eight teams from around the country will be in action in the national men's basketball championship organised by Punjab Basketball Association, as all arrangements have been given final touches for the successful five-day national basketball fixture.“Top eight teams have been divided into two groups as Pool "A" comprises defending champion Pakistan Army, Pakistan Ordnance Factories (POF), Pakistan Air Force (PAF), Faisalabad while WAPDA, Lahore, Pakistan Navy, and Islamabad are included in Pool "B". Four matches will be played every day during pool round matches in the championship as well as the top two teams of each group will qualify for the knockout round. All foreign female players reach the Girls’ Singles quarterfinalsSports Bulletin ReportISLAMABAD: The 6th local tennis lad, Seed Hamid Israr Gul outclassed Taichi Tamura from Japan 2-1 in the second round of the Boys’ Singles fixture of the ITF Pakistan J30 World Junior Tennis Championships-II here at PTF-SDA Tennis Complex on Tuesday.In the first set, both the players played a defensive game strategy by holding their own serve 5-5 games. In the 12th game, Hamid made some unforced errors and hit the ball into the net, which resulted in losing the first set at 5-7. In the second set, Hamid Israr changed the game plan and played his own natural game by hitting down the line and cross-court shots and building up the winning lead 5-1. After losing the 8th game Hamid again made some unforced errors but managed to settle in the next game and won the second set at 6-3 and levelled the match one set all. In the decisive set, Hamid Israr did not allow his opponent to settle down and build up the winning streak 4-1. Morkel’s first assignment with the men’s team was their tour to Sri Lanka for the two-match Test series.

Hamza continued his winning pace and broke the 4th and 6th game of Bilal Asim and won the first set comfortably 6-1.In the second set, Bilal Asim changed the pattern of the game by playing a blend of cross-court, and down the line shots, and serve and volley games. Both the players exhibited an excellent game of tennis and reached 4-4.
