ISLAMABAD: Pakistan WAPDA and Army set to meet in the men’s final of the National Netball Championship on Tuesday after beating their rivals in the semifinals at Liaquat Gymnasium, Pakistan Sports Complex here on Monday. WAPDA and Sindh reached in the women’s final.
Mohammad Ibrar, Director General Pakistan Sports Board was the chief guest on semifinals. Deputy DG, PSB, Shahid Islam, President, Pakistan Netball Federation (PNF), Mudassar Arian, Vice President Sameen Malik and Secretary General, Syed Gohar Raza were also present on the occasion.
Results (Women’s Event):
In the first semifinal: Pakistan Wapda beat Pakistan Army by 18-15
In second semifinal: Sindh beat HEC by 16-20
Semifinals (Men's Event):
Pakistan Wapda beat Navy by 22-16
Pakistan Army beat Pakistan Air Force by 33-25
Results (Women’s Quarterfinals):
Pakistan Wapda beat Galgit by 41-0
HEC beat Punjab by 25-10.
Army beat KPK by 31-02
Sindh beat PNF Elite by 30-14

Pakistan Wapda beat Punjab by 29-21
Pakistan Army beat Pakistan Police by 40-20
Pakistan Navy beat Gilgat by 30-10
Pakistan Air Force beat Sindh by 29-17
