ISLAMABAD (PR): Pakistan Taekwondo Federation (PTF) has launched the WT Cares Taekwondo at different schools including Iram Model School Kahuta, Islamabad Model School for Girls F-6/1, and Hader-i-Qarar Taekwondo Academy, Gulberg, Islamabad.
According to an official of PTF, the program is designed specifically for orphaned and underprivileged children, providing them with free training, equipment, and uniforms. Participants will receive expert coaching under the supervision of trained professionals.
Previously, the WT Cares program, conducted under the auspices of the Pakistan Taekwondo Federation (PTF), achieved remarkable success, as the four players including two females and two males secured prominent positions at the 16th Korean Ambassador Cup 2024.
The WT Cares program is a collaborative effort between the PTF and World Taekwondo Korea, aiming to promote self-defense and a love for taekwondo among youth. At F-6/1 model school for girls, the chief guest was the principal of this School, however, Jalal Hyder, Secretary of Finance, and Najia Rasool, Deputy Secretary General PTF were the guest of honours.
