Tashkent (Uzbekistan): The Pakistan U19 Men’s Volleyball Team continued their outstanding form at the FIVB Boys’ U19 World Championship 2025, registering their second back-to-back victory in the tournament by defeating hosts Uzbekistan in straight games 3-0.
In a thrilling encounter held in Tashkent, Pakistan dominated the court and claimed victory with set scores of 25-23, 25-18, 25-21. This impressive win follows Pakistan’s opening triumph over Belgium, signaling their intent to make a strong mark in their historic debut at the world stage.
Mohammad Yahya led the scoreboard with a stellar 24 points, delivering exceptional consistency in both attack and defense. Mohammad Saud added 10 points, showcasing his versatility on the net. Muhtad Ali Shah and Ajmal Junaid each contributed 9 crucial points, adding depth to Pakistan’s offensive strategy.
Head Coach Saeed Ahmed Khan Sady said: “Our boys showed tremendous maturity and confidence on the court today. Beating the host team in front of their home crowd is never easy, but our players remained focused and executed the game plan with precision. This victory boosts our morale, but we still have crucial matches ahead.”
