COAS Taekwondo: Players and officials of 7 Nations arrive in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD (November 3, 2021):-The players and officials of 7 countries have arrived in the capital city Islamabad to take part in the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Pakistan Open International Taekwondo Championship that will commence from November 6, 2021 at Liaquat Gymnasium, Pakistan Sports Complex Islamabad under the banner of Pakistan Taekwondo Federation.

According to an official of Pakistan Taekwondo Federation (PTF), the players from Oman, Jordon, Kazakhstan, Egypt and El-Salvador landed at Islamabad International Airport where the top officials of the federation welcomed the guests and guided them to their hotels. Also, the officials of Iraq and Nepal including match referees have also arrived in Islamabad.

Oman's squad consisted of four players and an official. Besides hosts Pakistan 15 countries will participate in the international taekwondo fixture and will fight for the top honour. Sixteen gold medals will be decided in male and female competition during the three-day prestigious Marshall Art event. Besides hosts Pakistan, Afghanistan, Albania, Nepal, Jordon, Kazakhstan, Oman, Egypt, Iran, Turkey, Morocco, United Arab Emirates (UAE), El-Salvador, Croatia, and WT Refuge Team will take part in the championship 2021. Over 550 including players and officials will be the part of the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Pakistan Open International Taekwondo Championship (G-1).
