Islamabad (October 22, 2021):-Namibia qualified for next round after defeating Ireland by 8 wickets in the ICC Men’s T20 world cup 2021 on Friday at Sharjah Cricket Stadium United Arabs Emirates (UAE).
According to information, Ireland ousted from the world cup. Irelands skipper Andy Balbirnie won the toss and decided to bat first and set minor 125 total on score board for 8. Ireland’s right handed opener Paul Stiriling played 38 runs innings. He hit 5 fours and 1 six while other opener Kevin O Brine played bit slow and added only 25 runs after wasting 24 deliveries.

Bilal Satti becomes president ICCB

ISLAMABAD (October 22, 2021):-Bilal Satti became the president of Islamabad Cricket Club for Blind (ICCB), as the elections of the seven members executive committee held in Islamabad at the Auditorium of Youth Hostel Islamabad.
According t press release of ICCB, five members were elected unopposed. Bilal Satti President , Naveed Hussain Abbasi General Secretary, Tahir Butt Treasurer and Taimoor Imran Ali Khan as PRO while Tanveer Ahmed was elected as Vice President with a convincing margin of 21votes against Mohammad Javed's 13 votes.
Two executive Members Anis Javed and Mohammad Awais were also elected after voting. This Executive Committee of Islamabad Cricket Club of the Blind is elected for a period of next three years 2021-2024.
Scotland secure historic qualification by topping Group B

Oman (October 21, 2021):-Kyle Coetzer produced a captain’s knock to steer Scotland to an eight-wicket win over Oman and book a place in the Super 12s at the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2021.
Scotland went into the clash with the hosts knowing that defeat could spell the end of the tournament, but this was a complete performance as the Scots clinched top spot in Group B with a third win out of three – a historic achievement for the side.
That earns Scotland a place in Group 2 in the Super 12, alongside the likes of India, Pakistan and New Zealand, while Bangladesh end up as runners-up in Group B and head to Group 1 as a result.
For Oman, there was to be no fairy tale at the Al Amerat Stadium, Jatinder Singh’s run-out off the second ball a sign of what was to follow. A total of 122 always felt a little short, and so it proved.
Coetzer had not yet fired for Scotland at this World Cup, but his 41 made it a comfortable chase, and even after he departed, Matt Cross and Richie Berrington did the rest.
Oman were always going to need a good start, with Jatinder their star batter in the first two matches, and when he was run out after a complete misunderstanding on the second ball, it left the rest of the team with an uphill battle.
Kashyap Prajapati followed soon after for three, but Aqib Ilyas started to find his groove, hitting three fours and two sixes in a brisk 37.
Oman needed him to kick on though, instead he picked out George Munsey on the boundary off the bowling of Michael Leask.
Mohammad Nadeem looked good in hammering Mark Watt for six over long on, but he was caught at short extra cover by Berrington off the very next ball for 25.
That left all the responsibility to skipper Zeeshan Maqsood, given one reprieve when he was caught of a full toss from Chris Greaves that was above waist height.
He went on to make 34 before departing in the final over, but the wickets continued to tumble at the other end, and the total of 122 all out was not enough.
That became clear as Coetzer took an attacking approach to his innings, complemented by the free-scoring Munsey at the other end.
Munsey was caught by opposite number Jatinder after making 20, but Coetzer pushed on with three maximums to settle any nerves.
Khawar Ali finally found a way through Coetzer’s defences, but it was too little, too late, as Cross and Berrington got the team over the line comfortably with the latter smashing one last six to seal the win in emphatic fashion.

COLOMBO, Sri Lanka (October 21, 2021):-Safexpay has become c-owner of Kandy franchise for the second season of the Lanka Premier League (LPL) of the prestigious T20 tournament of the Islanders, says a press release.
Ravi Gupta, the Founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Safexpay focused on solving the problems for businesses that need to either accept online payments from or make payouts to various stakeholders. Safexpay has a strong presence in India, UAE and Singapore.
Speaking about entering the LPL, Gupta said, "The Lanka Premier League garnered a lot of interest from some of the biggest stars and the cricket fans from around the world in the first season and therefore I am absolutely delighted to enter the tournament as the co-owner of the Kandy franchise this year. Bangladeshi batters post 182 runs target on score board after losing 7 wickets. Bangladesh’s captain Mahmudullah won the toss and decided to play first. Skipper Mahnudullah played a sparkling innings and scored 50 runs in just 28 deliveries. He hit huge 3 sixes and 3 fours. Left handed Shakib Al Hassan scored 46 runs in 37 balls and hit long 3 sixes while Liton Das counted only 29 runs in 23 balls. NPG right hand pacer Kabua Morea picked up 2 wickets for 26 runs. Assad Vala took 2 wickets and conceded 26 runs.

West Indies Women to play three ODIs in Karachi

KARACHI (October 21, 2021):-West Indies Women will visit Pakistan for three One-Day Internationals in November. Karachi’s iconic National Stadium will host the matches on 8, 11 and 14 November, following which both sides will travel to Zimbabwe for the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup Qualifier to be held from 21 November to 5 December.
As part of the Pakistan Cricket Board’s efforts to increase the reach and viewership of the women’s sport, the three ODIs – which will start at 1000 – will be live-streamed through PCB’s YouTube channel around the world.
This will be Pakistan women’s third bilateral series in 2021 after they toured South Africa in January-February and West Indies in June-July. Stafaine Taylor’s West Indies will arrive in Karachi on 1 November for what is a reciprocal tour.
The top three of the 10 teams will qualify for the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2022, which will be played in New Zealand.
PCB Chairman Ramiz Raja: “We are delighted to announce the West Indies women’s tour to Pakistan in November. This will be a great series for the promotion, publicity and growth of women’s cricket in Pakistan, besides also providing both sides excellent opportunity to prepare for the World Cup qualifier.
“West Indies women’s tour will be followed by their men’s side who will visit Pakistan for three ODIs and three T20Is in December. So, the Pakistan cricket fans can brace for some exciting and entertaining cricket in women’s and men’s cricket later this year.”
Meanwhile, the national women’s selection committee – which includes Urooj Mumtaz (the chair) and Asmavia Iqbal – has also announced an 18-strong squad for the upcoming three ODIs and the World Cup Qualifier.
Batter Javeria Khan will lead the contingent, which has been devised after considering the performances on the last two tours and the recent Pakistan Cup Women’s One-Day.

ISLAMABAD (October 20, 2021):-Sri Lanka beat low ranked Ireland by 70 runs in the ICC Men’s T 20 World cup 2021 match at Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium, Abu Dhabi on Wednesday.
Sri Lankan team scored 171 for 7 runs in 20 overs fixture. Lankan middle order batter Wanindu Hasaranga de Silva was top scorer in the match. He scored 70 runs in 47 balls. He knocked 10 fours and a solitary six. Opener right handed batter Pathum Nissanka played 61 runs innings in only 47 delivers .He smashed 6 fours and single six while Lankan Captain Dasun Shanaka make 21 runs in 11 balls.
Ireland’s passer Josh Little picked up 4 wickets for 24 runs. Al rounder Paul Stirling took 1 wicket and conceded just 4 runs while Mark Adair grabbed 2 for 35.

LAHORE (October 20, 2021):-Balochistan captain Imran Butt and Central Punjab opener Abid Ali made centuries in their sides’ matches against Sindh and Southern Punjab on the opening day of the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy 2021-22.
Imran smashed 104 off 222 to record his sixth first-class century at Iqbal Stadium, Faisalabad. The right-hander knitted a solid 194-run stand with his fellow opener Imam-ul-Haq, who missed out on a century by three runs, as he was dismissed by Asad Shafiq after scoring 97 off 166 (10 fours and two sixes).
Balochistan ended the day on 253 for the loss of four wickets. Abdul Wahid Bangalzai (32 not out) and Ayaz Tasawar (0 not out) will resume the innings tomorrow. Sindh’s Mir Hamza, Mohammad Asghar and Mohammad Hasnain were the other bowlers to take a wicket each.
As Balochistan had crossed the 250-run mark, they gathered two batting points for the innings, while Sindh got one bowling point for dismissed four batters inside the first 100 overs.
Abid’s unbeaten 132 was the highlight of the first day of the Punjab Derby at Multan Cricket Stadium as Central Punjab ended the day at a strong 289 for three. They gathered two batting points.
Abid faced 249 balls and despatched 22 of them towards boundary. The Pakistan Test opener added 100 runs for the first wicket with Ahmed Shehzad, who made 63 off 83 (11 fours) before he was caught off Aamer Yamin after Lunch. Central Punjab captain Azhar Ali was LBW by his opposite number, Mohammad Abbas, after scoring 25 (four fours).
When pacer Mohammad Ilyas dismissed Mohammad Saad (12 off 41), he handed Southern Punjab a point for helping them take three wickets.
Left-hander Hussain Talat pushed the Southern Punjab bowlers on the backfoot in the latter part of the day with an unbeaten 46. He smashed eight fours.
At the Gaddafi Stadium, in front of nine High-Definition cameras which are beaming live-action around the world through PCB’s official YouTube channel, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa openers Sahibzada Farhan and Israrullah and captain Iftikhar Ahmed struck half-centuries.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa were provided a solid start with a 92-run opening stand. Farhan smashed seven fours and a six in his 134-ball 71, while Israr made 50 off 79 (four fours and a six).
Iftikhar carried his impressive form with the bat in red-ball cricket and smashed three fours and a six as he remained unbeaten on 50 off 106. He will resume Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s innings on 240 for five from 81 overs with Khalid Usman (five not out) on Thursday.
