KPK and Punjan beat Sindh and Balochistan in T-20 Blind Cricket
Sports Bulletin Report ABBOTTABAD:-KPK and Punjab have won their matches on the Day-2 of 5th PBCC Blind Cricket T-20 Super League 2022 Ayub Medical College Cricket Ground Abbottabad on Friday. Day-2 Game-1: (KPK beat Sindh by 21 runs) Matiullah’s captain’s innings of 71 runs helped KPK to beat Sindh by 21 runs. KPK won the toss and decided to bat first. KPK’s batsmen played superbly well and set the competitive total of 200 runs on the board for the loss of 9 wickets in the allotted 20 overs. Moeen Aslam was the second highest with 30 runs. Kashif Siddique and Israr Hassan grabbed 2 wickets each. In reply, Sindh tried its best to reach the target of 201 runs but fell 21 runs short of the target. Sindh’s team was able to score 179 runs by losing their 7 wickets in stipulated 20 overs. Nisar Ali was their top scorer with 70 runs and Haroon Khan made 44 runs. Rizwan & Ayyaz took 2 wickets each while Shahzeb claimed 1 wicket. Result: KPK won by 21 runs Man of the Match: Matiullah Game-2 (Punjab beat Balochistan by 9 wickets) Punjab won the toss and asked Balochistan to bat first. Balochistan posted a tiny total of 179 runs on the board for the loss of 5 wickets in allotted 18 overs. Riasat Khan was the highest scorer with 70 runs. Mohammad Safdar fetched 1 wicket.  The target of 180 runs wasn’t proved tough for the healthy batting lineup of Punjab and they achieved the target easily in 15 overs for the loss of 1 wicket. Mohammad Safdar was the top scorer for Punjab who scored unbeaten 84* runs while Zafar Iqbal played a supportive inning of unbeaten 36* runs. PBCC Blind Cricket T-20: Sindh and Balochistan earn victories
Sports Bulletin Report ABBOTTABAD:-The 5th edition of Pakistan Blinds’ Cricket Council (PBCC) Blind Cricket T-20 Super League 2022 commenced with the opening day victories of Sindh and Balochistan, as they defeated Punjab and Khyber PakhtunKawa (KPK) respectively by 8 wickets at Ayub Medical College Cricket Ground, Abbottabad. Four (4) provincial teams Sindh, Punjab, KPK and Balochistan are fighting for the title. Legendary Pakistan Cricket Star Abdul Razzaq inaugurated the event by hitting the ball. He was accompanied by Syed Sultan Shah, Chairman Pakistan Blind Cricket Council, Dr. Umer Farooq, Dean, Ayub Medical College and Sardar Shuja Nabi, City Mayor Abbottabad. Day-1 Game-1 Sindh beat Punjab by 8 wickets: Due to overnight rain and wet outfield umpires decided to reduce the match to 12 overs per innings. Sindh won the toss and decided to bowl first. The Punjab team made 120 for 7 runs in allotted 12 overs. Zafar Iqbal was the highest scorer with 36 runs and Sanwal made 16 runs. Babar and Salman grabbed 1 wicket each. Sindh, in reply chased down the target in 11.1 overs for the loss of 3 wickets. Mohammad Faisal shined with the bat and played a superb inning of unbeaten 60 runs, helped his side to beat Punjab by 8 wickets. Mohammad Salman was the second highest scorer with 16 runs. Sajid took 1 wicket. Result: Sindh won by 8 Wickets Man of the Match: Mohammad Faisal Game-2: Balochistan beat KPK by 8 wickets: Balochistan won the toss and put KPK in to bat first. Balochistan bowling didn’t allow KPK batters to score runs fluently. KPK were restricted to 104 runs in allotted 12 overs by losing their 5 wickets. Moeen Aslam played beautifully for his 39 runs and Matiullah scored 28 runs. Mohsin Khan and Kamran took 1 wicket each. The target of 105 runs wasn’t proved tough to the robust batting lineup of Balochistan and they chased down quite easily in 10.4 over for the loss of 2 wickets. Riasat Khan was the top scorer for Balochistan who scored 38 runs while Bismillah & Badar made 27 and 14 not out runs respectively. Shahzeb fetched 1 wicket for KPK. Attock lift the title of NBP T-20 Blind Cricket Trophy 2022
Sports Bulletin Report Quetta (Pakistan):-Attock has won the title of the National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) T-20 Blind Cricket Trophy 2022 (Grade-2) after beating Karachi by 5 wickets in the final at Fatima Jinnah Cricket Ground, Quetta on Tuesday. Syed Sultan Shah (Chairman Pakistan Blind Cricket Council), Junaid Iqbal (CSR officer NBP), Syed Salman Bokhari (Director Cricket Operations PBCC), Aatif Qayyum (Director Education & Rehabilitation PBCC), Mansoor Khan, representative of PCB Quetta and Nusrullah Shahwani (President SQCCB) were the guests and distributed prizes amongst the players. Earlier, in the morning, Karachi won the toss and asked Attock to take guard. Attock posted a competitive total of 202 runs on the board for the loss of 7 wickets in allotted 20 overs. Muhammad Raheel was the top scorer with 59 runs and Ehtisham ul Haq made 27 runs. Tahir Ali, Abdul Wahab and Hassan Raza fetched 1 wicket each for Karachi. In reply, Karachi tried its best to reach the target of 203 runs but fell 5 runs short of the target. Karachi’s team was able to score 197 runs by losing their 6 wickets in stipulated 20 overs. Attock and Karachi storm into the final of the NBP T-20 Blind Cricket Trophy
Sports Bulletin Report Quetta (Pakistan):-Attock and Karachi stormed into the final of the National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) T-20 Blind Cricket Trophy 2022 after beating their challengers in the semifinals at Fatima Jinnah Cricket Ground Quetta on Monday. The final of the tournament will be played between Attock and Karachi at the same venue on Tuesday. Results (semifinals)    Semifinal-1: Attock beat Hyderabad by 23 runs In the morning, Attock won the toss and decided to bat first. Openers Ehtisham ul Haq and Zeshan toiled the strong bowling of Hyderabad and both knitted 129 runs for the 1st wicket partnership. Attock made 266 runs on the board for the loss of 6 wickets in the allotted 20 overs. Ehtisham ul Haq was the top scorer with 105 runs and Zeshan made 70 runs. Hussain Bax took 2 wickets while Mohsin Ahmed took 1 wicket for Hyderabad. In reply, Hyderabad was well on the course to chase the target till the 15th over, but Amjad Mugheri’s wicket opened the opportunity to Attock and they grabbed it with both hands. Imran Sarwar tried his best in a fighting inning of unbeaten 133* runs but Hyderabad was restricted to 243 runs in 20 overs for the loss of 2 wickets. The veteran Tahir Ali played an extraordinary innings of 150 runs and Bismillah Khan made unbeaten 80* runs.  In reply, Quetta was restricted to 270 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in 20 overs. Sports Bulletin Report Quetta (Pakistan):-Besides, hosts Quetta, Attock, Hyderabad and Karachi moved into the semifinals of National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) Blind T-20 Cricket Trophy after showing acceptable performance in the first round at two different cricket venues in Quetta. On Monday, in the 1st semifinal Attock will meet Hyderabad while Karachi will take on Quetta in the 2nd semifinal, as the both matches will be played at Bolan Cricket Stadium Quetta. Results (Day-3): Games-1: Attock beat Quetta by 13 runs at Bolan Cricket Stadium In the morning, Quetta won the toss and decided to bowl first. Attock set a healthy total of 258 runs for all out in 19.4 overs. Ehtisham ul Haq played brilliant innings of 69 runs and Muhammad Sohail scored 38 runs. Shahid and Ehsan Ullah claimed 2 wickets each for Quetta. In reply Quetta was restricted to 245 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in 20 overs. Amjad Ali played master class innings of unbeaten 163* run, he was well supported by Imran Sarwar who scored unbeaten 123* runs. In reply, Multan fought hard; Mohammad Safdar and Abdul Razzaq kept their chances alive by dazzling batting but unfortunately fell 3 runs short of the target. "The IPL final is being held at Narendra Modi Cricket Stadium, the largest cricket stadium in the world. Girnar Ropeway is the longest ropeway in India and wonder of Gujarat, has decided to launch a scheme that if Gujarat Titans wins the IPL Title then whoever has gone to watch IPL match with  valid ticket in the stadium will be provided a free ropeway ride at Girnar Ropeway on showing IPL final ticket. This scheme is valid for one month, from 30th May 2022", the press release says.  Later, speaking to this Reporter, Deepak Kaplish said, "the idea came to connect two wonders of Gujarat, the largest stadium and the longest ropeway".  "This new ropeway was inaugurated by our Hon. Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 24th October 2020 and the IPL final is also being played at the stadium named after him". "It is a matter of pride for Gujarat to have its own team in the IPL and it is a big achievement for the team to reach the final, in its first season". The ropeway, which is constructed by Breco Limited, the pioneers in ropeway since 1969, has already carried 11 lacs passengers. "The company may have offered the ride to the players but as this ropeway is far from Ahmedabad (6 hours drive in Junagadh), it was not possible". "This free ropeway offer is non-transferable and can be used once and can not be clubbed with any other offer".

Hosts Quetta registered second back-to-back 10 wickets win the tournament.  Results (Day-2) Game-1: Hyderabad beat Gilgit by 117 runs at Bolan Stadium In the morning, Hyderabad won the toss and decided to bat first. Hyderabad set a healthy total of 235 runs for the loss of 4 wickets in stipulated 15 overs. Imran Sarwar played brilliant innings of 86 runs and Ubaid Ullah scored 65 runs. Irfan Claimed 2 wickets for Gilgit. In Reply Gilgit made 118 runs in stipulated 15 overs for the loss of 6 wickets.  Nabi Ullah was the top scorer with 28 runs and Shoeb Mir made 23 runs. For Hyderabad Mohsin Ahmed took 2 wickets while Amjad and Ubaid Ullah took 1 wicket each. Also, Multan, Karachi and Attock have won their matches of the cricket trophy. Syed Sultan Shah, Chairman Pakistan Blind Cricket Council (PBCC) inaugurated the event, Syed Salman Bokhari and Aatif Qayyum Directors PBCC were also the other dignitaries present on the occasion. Results: Game-1: Quetta beat Faisalabad by 10 wickets at Bolan Stadium: Quetta won the toss and put Faisalabad in to bat first. Faisalabad were bowled out on 188 runs in 18.1 overs. Bilal Ali was the top scorer with 59 runs and Noman Naseer made 17 runs. Niamat Ullah, Mohammad Shahid and Kaleem Ullah took 2 wickets each for Quetta. Lahore win NBP T-20 Blind Cricket Trophy Grade-1 title
Sports Bulletin Report ISLAMABAD:-Lahore outclassed Azad Jammu Kashmir (AJK) by 9 wickets in the final of National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) T-20 Blind Cricket Trophy at Bhutto Shaheed Cricket Ground G-7 Islamabad on Monday. Matiullah got man of the match award. In the morning, Lahore won the toss and put AJK into bat. Apparently, the decision didn’t go in Lahore's favor as AJK put a mammoth total on the board. AJK made 262 runs for the loss of 1 wicket in the allotted 20 overs. Nisar Ali made 126 runs off 59 balls featuring 21 (4s) and 1 six and Faisal Mehmood made 81 runs off 41 balls. Imran Mughal took 1 wicket. Lahore in reply played exceptionally well and chased the huge target in just 17.5 overs for the loss of 1 wicket. Matiullah was the top scorer with 111 runs off 50 balls featuring 19 (4’s) and 1 six, whereas Kamran Akhtar made 78 runs off 39 balls and Mohammad Salman played a brisk inning of 50 runs off 18 balls. AJK won the toss and decided to bat first. Openers Faisal Mehmood and Nisar Ali toiled the strong bowling of Islamabad and both knitted 197 runs for the 1st wicket partnership. AJK made 222 runs on the board for the loss of 5 wickets in the allotted 20 overs. Faisal Mehmood was the top scorer with 93 runs off 54 balls and Nisar Ali made 91 runs off 59 balls. Anees Javed was the only bowler to claim a wicket. In reply, Islamabad was well on the course to chase the target till the 12th over, but Anees Javed’s wicket opened the opportunity to AJK and they grabbed it with both hands.  Shahzeb Haider tried his best in a fighting inning of 98 runs off 66 runs but Islamabad was restricted to 203 runs in 20 overs for the loss of 8 wickets. Later, in the second semifinal, Lahore beat Bahawalpur by 54 runs Bhutto Shaheed Cricket Ground. Bahawalpur won the toss and put Lahore into bat. Lahore got off to a flyer, as their openers Matiullah and Kamran Akhtar took advantage of fielding restrictions and scored 82 runs in the first 6 overs. They both got out in the 8th over a total score of 98 runs, Matiullah and Kamran scored 35 and 46 runs respectively. Then Muhammad Salman and Sanwal Shahzada took charge and scored freely, both were dismissed on 44 and 49 runs respectively. Lahore posted a huge total of 243 runs on the board for the loss of 8 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. Sajid Nawaz took 2 wickets, while Saqib and Ejaz claimed a wicket apiece. In reply, Bahawalpur got the big jolt in the first over, when their most dependant batsman Muhammad Rashid was bowled by Matiullah on just 1 run. Moeen Ali and Zafar Iqbal weren’t impressive either, they both fell cheaply. Abdul Jabbar Faisal ISLAMABAD:-Besides hosts Islamabad, Azad Jammu Kashmir (AJK), Bahawalpur and Lahore qualified for the semifinals of the National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) T-20 Blind Cricket Trophy 2022 (Grade-1) after completing the first round matches at two different venues at Islamabad on Saturday. On Sunday, 1st semifinal will be played between AJK and Islamabad while Bahawalpur will take on Lahore in the 2nd Semifinal. Both matches will be played at Bhutto Shaheed Cricket Ground G-7 Islamabad. Game-9: Bahawalpur beat Islamabad by 10 wickets at Bhutto Ground Bahawalpur outplayed Islamabad by 10 wickets. Batting first, Islamabad scored 187 runs for loss of 4 wickets in 20 overs. Anees Javed and Shahzeb Haider made 57 and 36 runs respectively. In reply, Bahawalpur reached the target with ease in just 16.4 overs without any loss. Moeen Aslam played superb innings of unbeaten 90* runs off 57 balls and Mohammad Rashid was the second-highest run-getter with unbeaten 86* runs off 44 balls. Result: Bahawalpur won by 10 wickets Man of the Match: Mohammad Rashid Game-10: Abbottabad Vs Gujranwala beat Abbottabad by 5 wickets at PAF Ground, E-9 Abbottabad won the toss and decided to bat first. Abbottabad posted 212 runs on the board in the allotted 20 overs for the loss of 2 wickets. Naeem Ullah was the highest scorer with unbeaten 83* runs off 53 balls. Riasat Khan was the second highest with 66 runs off 53 balls. Israr Hassan took 1 wicket. In reply, Gujranwala chased the target of 213 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in 13.4 overs. Muhammad Akram missed out today and got out after scoring 33 runs but Israr Hassan stood tall on the other end and guided his team home with 61 runs off 34 balls. Arslan claimed two wickets for Abbottabad. Result:  Gujranwala won by 5 wickets Man of the Match: Israr Hassan Game-11: Lahore beat AJK by 9 wickets Bhutto Ground G-7 AJK won the toss and opted to bat first. Faisal Mehmood once again played superbly and guided AJK to accumulate 200 runs on the board for the loss of 3 wickets in 20 overs. Faisal Mehmood was the highest scorer with unbeaten 122* runs off 69 balls. Mati Ullah was the only successful bowler to claim a wicket. Lahore in reply chased down the target of 201 runs in 15.2 overs for the loss of 1 wicket. Mati Ullah played a Captain’s knock of unbeaten 88* runs off 43 balls. Kamran Akhter was their second-highest run-getter with unbeaten 77* runs off 45 balls. Mehtab Khalil took 1 wicket for AJK. Result:  Lahore won by 9 wickets Man of the Match: Mati Ullah Game-12: Peshawar beat OKara by 1 run at PAF Ground, E-9 Peshawar won the toss and elected to bat first. Peshawar piled up a huge total of 259 runs on the board for the loss of 3 wickets in the allotted 20 overs. Haroon Khan played extraordinary innings of 121 runs off 67 balls, he was well supported by Sana Ullah Khan, he made 56 runs off 28 balls. Badar and Ramzan Shared 1 wicket each. In reply, Okara tried well to reached the targer but fell short of 1 run. Badar Munir  played an outstanding innings of 175 runs off 69 balls. Umer Draz made 62 runs off 49 balls. Okara scored 258 runs for the loss of 2 wickets in allotted 20 overs. Mohsin Khan fetched 1 wicket. Result: Peshawar won by 1 run Man of the Match: Haroon Khan
