Blind Goalball Team to visit China to participate in Goalball fixture
Sports Bulletin ReportISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Blind Goalball team will leave for China on Sunday (November 12, 2023) to take part in the forthcoming Asia Pacific Goalball Championship, which will be held in Hangzhou, China. Players and officials will depart from Islamabad International Airport in wee hours at 4:00 am.President, Pakistan Blind Sports Federation, Mohammad Waqas said: “Goalball, a Paralympic sport designed for individuals with visual impairments, demands extraordinary teamwork, precision, and determination. The Pakistan Blind Goalball Team, comprising talented athletes, has been diligently preparing for this championship, honing their skills to perfection under the guidance of experienced coaches.The athletes are not only excited about the competition but are also optimistic about their performance. They have expressed their commitment to giving their very best on the court, showcasing the true spirit of sportsmanship and determination. The team is eager to make their mark and vie for victory in the Asia Pacific Goalball Championship.The Pakistan Blind Goalball Team extends its gratitude to the sponsors, supporters, and the entire nation for their unwavering encouragement and backing. ITF Pakistan Juniors Leg-1: Kamonpanyakorn Thadapong wins title
Sports Bulletin ReportISLAMABAD: Thai tennis teenager tennis player, Kamonpanyakorn Thadapong has won the title of the ITF Pakistan Juniors Leg-1 Tennis Championships 2023 after beating Yoshito Oda from Japan 2-0 in a single-sided affair at PTF-SDA Tennis Complex Islamabad on Saturday. The final score-line was 6-4, and 6-1.Earlier, in the Girls’ Singles final, Saajida Razick from Sri Lanka beat Viktoriia Sedova from Russia 2-1 in a well-contested three sets final, the final score-line was 6-4, 2-6, and 6-2 and won the Championship.Yerzhan Kistafin Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Pakistan was the chief guest at the closing ceremony. The closing ceremony was also attended by Saeed Ahmad Khan SVP-PTF, Gul Rehman Secretary-General-PTF, and a large number of players, coaches, parents, and tennis lovers.The main draw matches of the 2nd leg will commence on Monday (November 13) at the same venue.

CNS Amateur Golf Championship: Rizwan maintains lead on Day II
Sports Bulletin ReportISLAMABAD: In the Senior Category, Rizwan Rashid of Margalla Green Golf Club (MGGC) maintained his lead on the second day of the 16th Chief of Naval Staff (CNS) Amateur Golf Championship 2023 at MGGC Islamabad on Friday. His (Rizwan) score was 154 after completing 36 36-hole games, as Mohammad Aslam Khan was still crawling behind him with a 158 gross score at the end of day 2.Also, Ami Qin exhibited an excellent game of golf and was on top of the score sheet with a score of 162 in the Ladies’ competitions. Zaibun Nisa (166) reached on second spot, as she was third on the opening day. Ana James Gill was on third position with a score of 167.

The final will be played on November 17 at the same venue.According to an official of PBCC, Eight top teams across the country will fight for the title during the 5-day prestigious blind cricket fixture.
