ITF Juniors: Abhilasha Bista and Goetz Taylor lift the Doubles title

ISLAMABAD (November 12, 2021):-Abhilasha Bista from Nepal pairing with Goetz Taylor from United States of America (USA) lifted the Girls’ Double title after beating Daria Stefania Malaescu (ROU) and Sharvani Shrestha (NEP) 2-0 in the NBP-PTF International Juniors Tennis Championship at PTF Tennis Complex Islamabad on Friday. The score-line was 6-1 and 6-2.
Meanwhile, Abdullah Adnan (PAK) and Abhishek Thorat (USA) set to meet in the final of Boys’ Singles of the ITF Pakistan, NBP-PTF International Juniors Tennis Championship after winning their respective semifinals at same venue.
In the Boys' Singles semifinals, Abdullah Adnan ousted top seed Aarav Samrat Hada (NEP) in straight sets 2-0 after showing impressive performance, as he will meet Abhishek Thorat (USA) in the final at same venue on Saturday. American guy outclassed Yunes Talawar (IRI) in straight sets in the second semifinal.

ITF Juniors: Adbullah outplays Ahmet 2-0 to reach in semies

ISLAMABAD (November 11, 2021):-Besides local guy, Adbullah Adnan, Abhishek Thorat, Yunes Talawar and Aarav Samrat Hada moved into the semifinals of Boys’ Singles of the ITF Pakistan NBP-PTF International Juniors Tennis Championships after ousting their opponents in quarterfinals at PTF Tennis Complex Islamabad on Thursday.
In the first quarterfinal Adbullah Adnan of Pakistan outclassed Ahmet Atabay of Turkey in straight sets 2-0 with the score-line of 6-3 and 6-3 after presenting a quality game of tennis. He will take on American lad Abhishek Thorat, who defeated Raza Ghaus without conceding a single game in the second quarterfinal at same clay court.

ISLAMABAD (November 9, 2021):-An unseeded girl, Daria Stefania Malaescu from Romania posted an upset triumph after beating top seed Abhilasha Bista from Nepal in straight sets 2-0 in the ongoing ITF Pakistan, NBP-PTF International Juniors Tennis Championships at PTF Tennis Complex Islamabad on Tuesday. NBP-PTF International Juniors Tennis Championship starts

ISLAMABAD (November 8, 2021):-ITF Pakistan NBP-PTF International Juniors Tennis Championships started on Monday here at PTF-SDA Tennis Complex. As many as 13 matches were played on the first day of championship.
Salim Saifullah Khan, President-PTF, visited PTF Complex and interacted with the players and their parents. The President-PTF also went around the premises to see the arrangements and showed satisfaction with the overall arrangements which are in place for the conduct of this event.
He wished all the players for better performance. He was of the opinion that the conduct of such events will provide better exposure to the Pakistani players, besides improving their ITF ranking.
It is also pertinent to mention that besides adhering to the covid-19 SOPS as per ITF and government instructions, a proper Security umbrella has also been provided during the conduct of the tournament. However, no visitors are allowed to witness the matches.

All Pakistan Junior National Tennis: Abdullah, Zahra, Mahatir, Asad claim titles
LAHORE (November 7, 2021): Abdullah Adnan, Zahra Suleman, Mahatir Mohammad and Asad Zaman have won their respective titles in the All Pakistan Junior National Tennis Championship 2021 that concluded here at Punjab Tennis Academy, Bagh-e-Jinnah.
Abdullah Adnan completed the hat-trick of national Under-18 titles by defeating seasoned campaigner Mahatir Mohammad of Karachi 6-3, 7-5 in the Boys U-18 final. Although Abdullah won the final in straight sets, but it was Mahatir, who gave tough time to the winner and reached quite close in the second set before losing the final.
In the girls Under-18 final, Zarhra Suleman (LGS Defence) played well against spirited Ashtafila Arif and after a tough battle, she won the final with a score of 6-4, 6-3. In the girls U-14 final, Soha Ali was up against Noori Saad and she played tremendous tennis against her opponent to win the final and title by 4-1, 4-1.
In the Boys Under-16 final, Mahatir Mohammad of Karachi had to struggle hard to beat talented Ahtesham Humayun with a score of 7-6(3), 6-2. In the boys Under-14 final, Asad Zaman continued his good show and winning spree as once again he clinched the U-14 title by outpacing Ahtesham Humayun with a margin of 6-2, 6-3.
In the boys U-12 final, Amir Mazari faced tough resistance from Omer Jawad before registering a narrow 4-1, 2-4, 4-1 victory. The boys/girls U-10 title was once again won by Abdur Rehman (AAA Associates), who defeated his younger sister Hajra Sohail 4-2, 4-5(5), 4-1. (Press Release)

ITF Pakistan-NBP-PTF International Juniors Tennis Championships start from Monday

ISLAMABAD (November 6, 2021):-The main draw of the ITF Pakistan & NBP-PTF International Juniors Tennis Championships will start from Monday (November 8, 20210 at PTF-SDA Tennis Complex Islamabad.
According to an official of PTF, the sign in for the main draw will take place on Sunday, 7th November 2021 from 04:00 to 06:00 pm while the main draw matches will commence on Monday at same venue. Muhammad Arif Qureshi, ITF White Badge Referee, is supervising the two events.
PTF will host two back-to-back J5 ITF Juniors Tournaments. Players from Pakistan, Iran, France, Nepal, Japan, Romania, Russia, Turkey, UK, Ukraine, India and USA, will participate in ITF Juniors J5 tournaments.

PTF Yellow Badge Officiating Courses

ISLAMABAD (November 5, 2021):-Pakistan Tennis Federation (PTF) has conducted two PTF Yellow Badge Officiating Courses, at Lahore and Islamabad, held from 28th to 30th October 2021 and 1st to 3rd November 2021 respectively.
These Officiating Courses were specially arranged for Lahore, Islamabad and Rawalpindi. A total of 14 Officials attended the course in Lahore and 16 Officials in Islamabad. The courses were conducted by Shahzad Akhtar Alvi, Head of Officiating and also ITF White Badge Umpire.
The participants were provided with all possible administrative facilities during the courses. Salim Saifullah Khan President -PTF also visited the course venue at PTF Complex, interacted with the officials, and emphasised the following.
These courses are specially organized to induct fresh blood into the officiating field.
Officiating is a very important part of tennis.
Due to the revival of International Tennis, our officiating staff requires tremendous improvement.
Tennis is played in 200 countries as compared to other sports, therefore you should work hard in the officiating field so that you can also be able to represent Pakistan at the International level.
He also congratulated the PTF Management for organizing the events in a befitting manner.
