ITF Pakistan World Junior Tennis: Hamid Israr overcomes Eshref Kaan Kacar 2-1

ISLAMABAD:-Local lad Hamid Israr overcame Eshref Kaan Kacar from Turkey 2-1 in a well-contested three sets match in the Boys’ Singles event of the ITF Pakistan AJ Towers World Junior Tennis Championship that started here at SDA-PTF Tennis Complex on Monday. The final score-line was 3-6, 6-3 and 7-6(3), as the match lasted three hours.
Turkish guy Esref Kaan Kacar won the 1st set 6-3 by displaying an excellent game of tennis. In the second set Hamid Israr bounced back and won the set at 6-3 and leveled the match 1-1 set all. In the final set, both the players held their own serve and the score went up to 6-6 all and the match was decided in a tie break. Hamid played some excellent cross courts and did not allow his opponent to settle down and took the lead 6-3 in the tie break and finally won the set and match at 3-6, 6-3 and 7-6(3).
In the Girls singles, Ensoo Lee (KOR) struggled hard to win her encounter against Valda Budkina (RUS). Valda won the first set at 6-1 but could not continue the winning streak and lost the second set 4-6. In the final set Ensoo (KOR) changed the pattern of game and comfortably won the final set at 6-2. The match lasted 2 hours.

ITF Pakistan AJ Towers World Junior Ranking Tennis Championship starts from Monday

ISLAMABAD:-Ghavam Amir Ali from Iran is top seed player of ITF Pakistan AJ Towers World Junior Ranking Tennis Championship, which will start from Monday at the Syed Dilawar Abbas (SDA)-Pakistan Tennis Federation (PTF) Tennis Complex, Garden Avenue Islamabad.
According to an official of Islamabad Tennis Association (ITA), 50 players from Great Britain (UK), Iran, India, Korea, Kazakhstan, Russia, Romania, Poland, Turkey and host Pakistan will fight for top honour during the 6-day international juniors’ fixture.
It is pertinent to mention that the ITF Covid-19 SOPs will also be observed and no spectators will be allowed to witness the tournaments as per government policy. Tariq Mehmood Murtaza, President ITA will inaugurate the championships at 10:00 am in the morning.

Sarah Mehboob lifts the title of Subh-e-Nau Ladies National Ranking Tennis Tournament

ISLAMABAD:-Top national tennis lady, Sarah Mehboob has won the title of Subh-e-Nau Ladies National Ranking Tennis Tournament 2022 after crushing Noor Malik 2-0 in a single sided final that was played at PTF-SDA Tennis Complex, Garden Avenue Islamabad on Friday.
Sarah Mahboob Khan daughter of tennis coach Mehboob Khan proved a hard nut not to crack for Noor Malik, who could win each one game in the both sets. The final score-line was 6-1 and 6-1. Pakistan number one Sarah exhibited top class tennis and did not allow her opponent to settle on the court during the whole match.
President, Pakistan Tennis Federation (PTF), Salim Saifullah Khan graced the closing ceremony as chief guest and distributed the prizes among the players. The President PTF lauded the efforts of Shahida Kausar Farooq for organizing the tournament for the promotion of women's tennis in Pakistan. He also congratulated both the finalists on their performance.
ITF Pakistan Juniors Tennis Championships: 10 nations including India event starts from February 7

ISLAMABAD:-Besides hosts Pakistan, the players from 9 other foreign countries including India will participate in the couple of ITF Pakistan Juniors International Ranking Tennis Championships, scheduled to be taken place from February 7 to 19, 2022 at PTF-SDA Tennis Complex, Garden Avenue Islamabad under the banner of International Tennis Federation (ITF) in two different phases.
According to an official of Pakistan Tennis Federation (PTF), the first ITF Pakistan AJ Towers International Junior Tennis Championships 7-12 February 7 to 12 while second ITF Pakistan Syed Dilawar Abbas Memorial International Junior Tennis Championships February 14 to 19, 2022
A Large number of junior players will be participating in these two events from all over the world including Great Britain (UK), Canada, Iran, India, Korea, Kazakhstan, Russia, Romania, Turkey and host Pakistan in Boys & Girls Under-18 Singles and Doubles categories. The qualifying round will start from February 5. The main draw matches will start from February 7, 2022.
AJ Towers, A project of Aziz Group will be the main sponsor of the 1st event "ITF Pakistan AJ Towers International Junior Tennis Championships". Subh-e-Nau Tennis: Sarah Mehboob and Meheq Khokhar claim Doubles title

ISLAMABAD:- Top national tennis girl Sarah Mehboob pairing with Meheq Khokhar have won the Doubles title of the Subh-e-Nau Ladies National Ranking Tennis Tournament 2022 after outplaying Noor Malik and Amna Ali Qayum in straight sets 2-0 in the final at PTF-SDA Tennis Complex, Islamabad on Thursday. The final score-line was 6-1, 6-1.
Both experienced girls displayed top quality tennis in the final and did not allow their challenger on the court to respond to their brilliant and excellent game. They (Sarah Mehboob and Meheq Khokhar) were too good for low ranking national girls in all departments. It was a single sided contest in the championship match.
Later, in the Ladies Singles, Sarah Mehboob and Noor Malik defeated their opponents Meheq Khokar and Sheeza Sajid respectively in the first and semifinal at the same venue. Both semi finals ended in straight sets and both winners conceded each one game in both sets. The final will be played on Friday at PTF Tennis Complex, Garden Avenue Islamabad.

LAHORE:-Bilal Asim has won the title of Millat Tractors Junior National Tennis Championship after beating Haider Ali Rizwan in a single sided final at Punjab Tennis Academy Bagh-e-Jinnah Mall Road Lahore on Wednesday. The final score-line was 6-0 and 6-3. Also, Bilal Asim pairing with Haider Ali Rizwan claimed the Under-18 Doubles title of the championship.
Lt Col (Rtd) Mukhtar Ahmad Bhatti Senior Manager Admin/ Purchase Millat Tractors graced the closing ceremony as chief guest to distribute the prizes among the winners and runner-ups of the national junior tennis fixture. Secretary, Punjab Lawn Tennis Association (PLTA) Rasheed Malik was also present in the ceremony.

Subh-e-Nau Ladies Tennis: Sarah, Sheeza and Meheq reach in the semifinals

ISLAMABAD:-Sarah Mahboob, Sheeza Sajid and Meheq Khokhar moved into the semifinals of Ladies’ Singles discipline of the Subh-e-Nau Ladies National Ranking Tennis Tournament 2022 after beating their respective challengers PTF-SDA Tennis Complex, Islamabad on Wednesday. Fatima Ali Raja also booked her berth in the semifinal, as her opponent Asifa Khan could not reach the court owing to death of her grandfather.
In the first quarterfinal, top seed Sarah Mahboob thrashed Seher Aleeem in straight sets 2-0 with the score of 6-1 and 6-2. In the second quarterfinal Sheeza Sajid beat Noor Mushtaq 2-0 at 6-4 and 6-0. Meheq Khokhar ousted Kainat Ali in similar style 2-0. The final score-line was 6-4 and 6-0. The semifinals will be played on Thursday at the same venue.
President, Pakistan Tennis Federation (PTF) Salim Saifullah Khan visited the tennis complex and witnessed some of the matches. He appreciated Sahaida Kausar Farooq (Chairperson Subh-e-Nau) for organizing the tournament for the promotion of girls’ tennis in the country. Shahida Kausar Farooq thanked the President PTF for extending all-out support for the smooth conduction of the event.

LAHORE:-Millat Tractors Junior National Tennis Championship reached in the final stage, as the all finals will be played on Wednesday (February 2, 2022) at Punjab Tennis Academy Bagh e Jinnah Lahore.

ISLAMABAD:-Meheq Khokhar, Kainat Ali, Noor Mushtaq and Sheeza Sajid have won their first round matches of the Subh-e-Nau Ladies National Ranking Tennis Tournament 2022 after beating their respective opponents at SDA-PTF Tennis Complex, Islamabad on Tuesday.
In the most exciting match of the day, Kainat Ali overcame Mariam Mirza 2-1 after wasting three hours. The final score-line was 6-4, 1-6 and 6-4. She won the first and third set in similar style 6-4. In another match, upcoming Amna Ali Qayum fought hard against Meheq Khokhar, who proved too strong in the end for her.

LAHORE:-Bilal Asim and Haider Ali Rizwan have qualified for the Under-18 final of the ongoing Millat Tractors Junior Tennis Championship by defeating Farman Shakeel 2-0 and Uzair Khan 2-1 respectively in the first and second semifinals at Punjab Tennis Academy Bagh-e-Jinnah Lahore on Monday.
In the first semifinal of Boys’ Under-18, Bilal Asim claimed an easy victory against Farman Shakeel in straight sets 2-0 with the score-line of 6-2 and 6-2. However, in the second semifinal, Haider Ali Rizwan had to toil hard to get rid of Uzair Khan after a three sets contest. The final score-line was 2-6, 7-6 and 6-4. This national junior tennis fixture is being played under the supervision of Punjab Lawn Tennis Association (PLTA).
