Noor Zaman beat Saddam to win All Pakistan Squash Championship

PESHAWAR: Noor Zaman from Pakistan WAPDA overcame Saddam Ul Haq from Pakistan Army 3-1 in the final of All Pakistan Men’s Squash Championship here at Qamar Zaman Squash Complex on Friday. The final score-line was 11-9, 10-12, 11-2 and 11-6, as the match lasted 32 minutes.
Recently winner of the gold medal in the Asian Team Championship in India, Noor Zaman exhibited top-class game in the final. Noor Zaman fully dominated the proceedings and did not allow his opponent Saddam Ul Haq to strike back in the final match. A total of 40 players from across the country participated in the four-day event.
Secretary, Pakistan Squash Federation, Group Captain Zafaryab Iqbal was the chief guest on this occasion who witnessed the final and distributed the prizes among players. Former World Squash Champion Qamar Zaman, vice president KP Squash Ehsanullah Khan, General Secretary KP Squash Mansoor Zaman, Finance Secretary Wazir Mohammad Chief Organiser & Senior Coach Directorate General of Sports Munawar Zaman, Mohammad Waseem Chief Referee Adil Faqir players and officials were also present.
Anas Khan wins first Pro-League Squash Championship 2023

KARACHI: Rising squash player, Anas Khan has won the first Pro-League Squash Championship that was held at Pakistan Navy (PN) Roshan khan & Jahangir Khan Squash Complex Karachi, as the event was sponsored by combaxx sports.
According to an official, in 1st pro league squash championship senior and junior players participated. Anas Khan beat Hurraira Zafar and took the title.
In junior category, Abdullah Shahid beat Syed Savi and got 1st position. In this event CEO of HUB Leather Cavish Farooq was the chief guest and during his speech he appreciated the efforts of the Pakistan Navy for supporting the game of squash.
He also addressed that there should be more league matches like this, it would build confidence in players and they will do more hard work so that we will surely get our lost position in the world of squash. He distributed trophies among players.
On this occasion Lt. Cdr Rehmat Ullah provided all the facilities to the players regarding squash. It was the successfully organized pro-league. Naveed alam was a director of 1st pro squash league

Squash legend Qamar zaman was the chief guest on the occasion along with Mohuibullah Khan. Asian Junior Squash Champions arrive in Sialkot with a gold medal

Sialkot: Pakistan junior’s squash team and officials arrived here after winning the Asian Junior Squash Championship title, as they thrashed traditional foes India in the final 2-0. The prestigious 10-nation regional squash showpiece was held from February 8 to 12 at Indian Squash Academy Chennai.
Pakistan Squash Federation (PSF) arranged a very warm reception in honour of the winners on their return from India after winning the gold medal during the 21st Asian Junior Squash Team Championship. A group of 10 teams participated in the championship.
Pakistan team was composed of Noor Zaman Khan, Mohammad Hamza Khan, Mohammad Ashab Irfan, and Anas Ali Shah and they outclassed the Indian team at their home ground with their excellent performance in the final.
On their arrival at Sialkot International Airport in the morning, a large number of squash lovers were present to receive the national team. In the evening, a similar reception was given to the national team at Pakistan Sports Complex, Islamabad.
Pakistan outclass India in Asian Junior Squash Team Championship final

Chennai (India): Pakistan outclassed arch-rival India 2-0 in the final of the 21st Asian Junior Squash Team Championship 2023 to retain their title at Indian Squash Academy, Chennai India on Sunday.
In the first match, Noor Zaman Khan outplayed local guy Krishna Mishra 3-1 after displaying a top-quality game, as the match lasted just 35 minutes. The final score-line was 12/10, 9/11, 13/11, 11/9.
Meanwhile, in the second fixture, Mohammad Hamza Khan crushed out Paarth Ambani in straight games 3-0. The final-scorer-line was 11/7, 11/5, 11/4, as the match lasted 20 minutes.

Chennai (India): Pakistan overcame South Korea and Hong Kong in straight matches 3-0 on the second day of the 21st Asian Junior Squash Team Championship at Indian Squash Academy Chennai, India on Thursday.
Pakistan’s lads displayed top-quality games in both matches, as they defeated Hong Kong without conceding a solitary game while they toiled hard on the court to get-rid-of Korea in three matches. In the morning session, Mohammad Hamza Khan trounced Kun Kim 3-2 after a well-contested five games thriller. The final score-line was 12-10, 7-11, 11-8, 9-11, 11-6, as they lasted 35 minutes in the second fixture of the match.

Asian Juniors Team Championship: Pakistan post 2 triumphs

Chennai (India): Pakistan, after showing a remarkable performance on the opening day of the 21st Asian Junior Squash Team Championship that started here at Indian Squash Academy on Wednesday, claimed two massive victories against Kuwait and Sri Lanka.
Pakistan have been placed in Pool-A along with Hong Kong, Korea, Sri Lanka and Kuwait while India, Malaysia, Japan, Singapore and Taipei are placed in Pool-B. Pakistan squash team comprises Noor Zaman Khan, Mohammad Hamza Khan, Mohammad Ashab Irfan and Anas Ali Shah.
On 09 February, 2023 Pakistan will play against Korea and Hong Kong.

Kashmir Day: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Girls Squash Championship begins

PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Girls Junior Age Group Squash Championship got underway here at Qamar Zaman Squash Complex wherein all the players with the guests also staged a walk expressing solidarity with the people of Kashmir who are facing unmatched atrocities, barbarisms at the hands of Indian soldiers.
The first female Station Director in the long history of Radio Pakistan Syeda Iffat Jabbar was the chief guest on this occasion. Former World Champion Qamar Zaman, Director Blue Tone Squash Academy Wazir Gul, Secretary General AIPs and President Pakistan Sports Writers Federation Amjad Aziz Malik, former Nazim Nawa Khali Sajjad Khan, KP Sports Writers President Asim Shiraz, and other important personalities were present.
In the Kashmir Day Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Girls Junior Squash Championship held under the auspices of Provincial Squash Association, Under-13, Under-17, and Under-19 competitions were included.

Kashmir is an integral part of Pakistan and Kashmir will become Pakistan one day. I appreciate the organizing committee for holding the event in connection with the Kashmir Day to pay homage to those who sacrificed their life for Kashmir independence.

“Chief organizer and chief referee of the event is Manoor Zaman. Girls will get opportunities to show their best skills. In our annual calendar, we have 24 big tournaments every year along with league matches. Ramadan camp and other camps will be organized frequently and it is hoped that this Year 2023 also our association will get the award for most competitions.”
