SPORTS BULLETIN REPORT Multan (September 8, 2021):-Karachi United and Pakistan WAPDA have won their respective matches in the ongoing 13th Pakistan Premier Football League (PPFL) at Qasim Bagh Football Stadium, Multan. In the first match, Karachi United overcame Pakistan Navy by 4-2. At the end of the first half, Karachi United was leading 3-1. Karachi United opened the account in the 4th minute of the first half through its player Aqib Ali and Fareed doubled the score 2-0 in the 18th minute of the same half. Shoaib of Pakistan Navy, reduced the margin 2-1, in the 31st minute. The 3rd and 4th goal were scored for Pakistan WAPDA by Affan Siddiqui and Mohammad Junaid in the 42nd and 66th minute. Naveed Ahmed again reduced the margin 4-2 in the 73rd minute for Pakistan Navy. For Karachi United, Asif Ali and Akhtar Bakhar received the yellow card in the 13th and 35th minute respectively while the same were obtained by Zeeshan Mahmood and Mohammad Shoaib for Navy in the injury times of the first and second half respectively. Referee Dilawar Khan supervised the match while Mehboob Ali and Sajjad Ahmed assisted to him. While,Rana mushtaq acted as match Commissioner. The second match was played between Pakistan WAPDA and Sui Northern Gas Pipeline (SNGP).Pakistan WAPDA won the match by 2-1 goals. Pakistan WAPDA took 1-0 lead at the end of the first half. In the 3rd minute, Ahmed Faheem opend the account for WAPDA and Mohammad Shoaib equalised the score 1-1 in the 75th minute for Navy. Another goal was scored by Larosh Khalid for WAPDA in the 84th minute. The match was locked by 2-1 goals. Referee showed yellow card to Ibrahim (Navy) in the 58th minute and Khurram (WAPDA) in the injury time of 2nd half. SPORTS BULLETIN REPORT Multan (September 7, 2021):-KRL and Lyallpur Club have won their respective matches in 13th Pakistan Premier Football League (PPFL) at Qasim Bagh Football Stadium, Multan on Tuesday. In the first match, Khan Research Laboratories (KRL) stunned Muslim Club Chman 8-0 goals. KRL took 3-0 lead at the end of the first half and five goals were scored in the 2nd half. Imran Khan and Abdul Qadeer scored two goal each while Alamgir,Waqar Hssain, Iftikhar Ali and Ali Agha also scored one goal each in the scheduled time. Asmatullah and Fareed Ullah received yellow cards in the 52nd and 78th minute while Mohammad Shahid also got the same in the 37th minute. In the second match, Lyallpur Club defeated Pakistan Army by 2-1 goals. Both teams fought well and were leveled 1-1 at the end of the first half. In the first minute of the first half, Mateen Tariq scored a goal for Pakistan Army and Mohammad Sufyan equalised the score 1-1 in the 36th minute. The 2nd goal was scored by Naeem Ullah for Lyallpur in the 80th minute. Shahram Babar got yellow card in the 46th minute for Lyallpur Club. On Wednesday, Lyallpur Club will take on Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority.      

SPORTS BULLETIN REPORT Multan (September 4, 2021):-Khan Research Laboratories (KRL) and  Muslim Club Chman registered their victories in the 13th Pakistan Premier Football League (PPFL) after beating their respective challengers at Qasim Bagh Football Stadium, here. Alamgir Ali Khan got first hat-Trick for KRL in the match. In the first match, KRL defeated Pakistan Navy by 5-2 goals. KRL took 3-0 lead at the end of the first half. Alamgir Ali Khan scored three goals for KRL and made first hat-Trick in the tournament for his team. In the 4th minutes of the first half, Ali Khan scored first goal and opened the account for KRL while Imran Khan doubled the score 2-0 in the 19th minutes of the same half. Alamgir Ali Khan scored three goals in the 39th, 75th and 78th minutes and got first hat Trick for KRL. Awas Gul and Noman reduced the margin 5-2 in the 62nd and 65th minutes respectively for Pakistan Navy. The match was ended 5-2 goals at the stipulated times.   For KRL team, Rajab Ali and Mohammad Shahid received yellow card for KRL for playing foul, in the 45th and 85th minutes respectively. In the second match, Muslim Club, Chman beat Pakistan Army by 1-0 goal. At the end of the first half, Muslim Club took 1-0 lead and both teams could not make any score in the second half. In the 16th minute of the first half, Fareed Ullah scored lone goal for Muslim Club and Pakistan Army could not equalize the score during the match. Referee showed yellow card to the players of Muslim Club, Hazrat Umer and Mairaj Uddin in the 39th and 53rd minutes, respectively while the same was received by Bilal Hassan of Pakistan Army in the 27th minutes. SPORTS BULLETIN REPORT Multan (August 30, 2021):-Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (PCAA) beat Huma Club 2-1 in the 13th Pakistan Premier Football League (PPFL) match at Qasim Bagh Football Stadium Multan on Monday. The match between Pakistan Air Force (PAF) and Lyallpur Club, Faisalabad ended in 1-1 draw after allotted 90 minutes game. Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority took 1-0 lead against Huma Club at the end of the first half. Suhail scored first goal for Civil Aviation Authority in the injuries time in the first half and Huma Club’s Waseem Ullah equalized the match 1-1 in the 74th minutes on penalty. The second goal for Civil Aviation was scored by Mohammad Nadeem in the injuries times of the second half. Referee showed yellow cards to Sohail and Naveed Ullah for Civil Aviation while also the same was received by Abdul Wahid and Talha for Huma Club. Referee Ahmed Rauf supervised the match while assisted by Adnan Anjum and Nadeem Butt to him. Later, the second match was played between Pakistan Air Force and Lyallpur Club, Faisalabad that ended 1-1 goal. Two teams were fighting 0-0 at the end of the first half and the both goals were scored in the second half. In the 62nd minutes, Mohammad Sufyan scored a goal for Lyallpur Club and Mansoor of Pakistan Airforce equalized 1-1 in the 82nd minutes. The match was lock 1-1 draw at the end of the scheduled times. Dilawar Khan supervised the match and were assisted by Mehboob Ali and Majid Khan.

SPORTS DESK Islamabad (August 2, 2021):-FIFA has launched ReachOut, a campaign designed to raise awareness of the symptoms of mental health conditions, encourage people to seek help when they need it, and take actions every day for better mental health. With the support of past and current football players, the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), FIFA is underlining the importance of greater awareness around mental health. In launching #ReachOut, FIFA President Gianni Infantino, said: “This campaign is very important in raising awareness about mental health conditions and encouraging a conversation which could save a life. In FIFA’s Vision 2020-2023, we pledge our commitment to make football work for society, and I thank the players and Ms Enke, who have contributed to this important initiative. “Depression and anxiety affect rising numbers of people worldwide, and young people are among the most vulnerable. Having a conversation with family, friends or a healthcare professional can be key. FIFA is proud to launch this campaign, supported by the World Health Organization and ASEAN to encourage people to #ReachOut.” The campaign hears from FIFA Legends Aline, Vero Boquete, Cafu, Laura Georges, Luis García, Shabani Nonda, Patrizia Panico, Fara Williams and Walter Zenga. FIFA.com also speaks with former Bolton Wanderers and Team GB forward, Marvin Sordell, and Sonny Pike, who was labelled the ‘next big thing’ at 14, about their experiences with depression. Teresa Enke also discusses the pain of losing a loved one to suicide, and her work with the Robert Enke Foundation. Depression affects more than 260 million people in the world while around half of all mental health conditions start by age 14. Suicide is the fourth leading cause of death in young people aged 15-29. Among active football players, 23 per cent report sleep disturbance, while 9% have reported depression and a further 7% suffer from anxiety. Among retired players, these figures increase, with 28% struggling to sleep and depression and anxiety affecting 13% and 11% respectively (source: FIFPRO) Working from home, unemployment, school closures and social isolation have affected people around the world during the COVID-19 pandemic; the challenges for people with mental health conditions, for whom access to treatment has, in many cases, been disrupted, are even greater. “As the COVID-19 pandemic continues, it is as important as ever to look after our mental and physical health,” said Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, Director-General of the World Health Organization. “WHO is delighted to support the #ReachOut campaign, spearheaded by FIFA to encourage people to talk about their mental health.” The video awareness campaign features Legends, current players and special guests, who have lent their support to this mental health campaign, and at times sharing their lived experience. The campaign is being shared on FIFA digital channels, with multimedia toolkits provided to the 211 FIFA member associations and to media agencies to facilitate dissemination and use within Europe and beyond. Meanwhile, players from Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam reinforce WHO advice on how to help to keep our minds healthy, as well as our bodies, in the special ASEAN edition of #ReachOut. Secretary-General of ASEAN Dato Lim Jock Hoi said, “Mental health and well-being are just as important as physical health and safety. Under the Chairmanship of Brunei Darussalam, ASEAN is taking steps to advance cooperation with external partners on mental health, in order to provide the ASEAN Community with the necessary and appropriate mental health and psychosocial support services.”

ABDUL JABBAR FAISAL ISLAMABAD (April 7, 2021):-Due to interference in the matters of Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) Normalization Committee, the Bureau of the FIFA Council decided to suspend the Chadian Football Association (FTFA) with immediate effect due to government interference. According to available information from abroad, the Bureau of the FIFA Council suspended the Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) with immediate effect due to third-party interference, which constitutes a serious violation of the FIFA Statutes. This situation was prompted by the recent hostile takeover of the PFF headquarters in Lahore by a group of protestors and an alleged decision by certain individuals to remove the FIFA-appointed normalisation committee of the PFF led by Haroon Malik and to hand over the leadership of the PFF to Syed Ashfaq Hussain Shah. FIFA issued a letter warning that, should the illegitimate occupation of the PFF headquarters not be lifted and the office bearers recognised by FIFA not be permitted free access to the building to carry out their mandate, the matter would be immediately submitted to the Bureau of the Council for decision. As the situation remains unchanged, the Bureau of the Council has decided to suspend the PFF. This suspension will only be lifted once FIFA has received confirmation from the normalisation committee of the PFF that the PFF’s premises, accounts, administration and communication channels are again under its full control and it can continue to carry out its mandate without further hindrance.

SPORTS REPORT PESHAWAR (March 28, 2021):-The FIFA suspension looms over Pakistan after Engineer Ashfaq-led group attacked on Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) Headquarters in Lahore, said former Vice President of the PFF Syed Zahir Ali Shah at a press conference here at Press Club on Sunday. Condemning the act, Syed Zahir Ali Shah, who is also part of the Ashfaq-led group as Senior Vice President, said that due to the attack the efforts of bringing football activities in real shape, received a denting response after the forcefully vacating the PFF House from the recently established FIFA Normalization Committee (NC) members led by Canadian based Malik Haroon as chairman. The football activities and its hope to bring back in real shape again after the assurance given to him by the new AFC-FIFA nominated Chairman Malik Haroon during a recent meeting, vanished once again due to condemnable act of Syed Ashfaq Hussain Shah led-group. Despite being part with the group which came through a Supreme Court decision through election in a premises of the Supreme Court in Islamabad and a judge nominated as Presiding Officer to conduct election, the forcefully vacated PFF Headquarters is not a justified act any way because FIFA did not recognized that election, Syed Zahir Ali Shah, added. “We as football lover request to the Prime Minister Imran Khan to intervene and rescue football in Pakistan because millions of sportspersons associated with this much loved Games of football,” he remarked. He disclosed that Ashfaq Hussain Shah had vacated the PFF headquarters in Lahore 19 months ago and Malik Haroon said that he had a road map for the election in April this year so what such step was taken in the wrong direction, he questioned. He said, Engr. Ashfaq-led group, which had vacated the Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) headquarters in Lahore 19 months ago, regained its control on Saturday, last, and the head of FIFA Normalization Committee Malik Haroon in his press statement has already said to break the glasses to escape the building. He said, Haroon accepted that such act was on force and the whole matter has come to the notice of FIFA so now certainly a suspension looming over Pakistan from FIFA, which he did not want even being part of Ashfaq Hussain Shah group earlier on. “I will follow AFC and FIFA decision and would not go by otherwise,” Syed Zahir Ali Shah added while answering a question. When asked why being part of the election, he said: “We follow the Supreme Court decision at that time and conducted the election under a nominated judge as President Officer for election. He said the previously announced NC failed to conduct the election during its time which further deteriorated condition for running football affairs in Pakistan. Meanwhile, in a media talks, Ashfaq, former president of Pakistan Football Federation, said that they had taken charge after the resolution which was passed in the Congress meeting in Islamabad. “The FIFA Normalization Committee has failed in its task,” he said. He said that the committee, which has not been able to hold a federation election in 19 months, cannot be allowed to lower the standard of football in Pakistan. “Now we have come to improve football. The committee members were not doing anything despite being paid millions of rupees. For a long time, nothing has been done to improve football. “We had given charge to Hamza Khan in the presence of the media. Haroon Khan's teammates have broken the windows of FIFA House. We have approached the police against them. We will also inform FIFA of the situation in writing. We will serve football and football will be revolutionized,” he added. Ashfaq said they will make sure that the elections are held on time. “We demand that strict action be taken against Malik Haroon & Company.” Following this humiliating episode, the 2021 National Women's Football Championship, which had been underway in Karachi, was also cancelled. “The PFF office was attacked in Lahore by Ashfaq Shah and his group,” the PFF NC alleged in a statement. “Sardar Naveed Haider Khan was also present with the attackers. The PFF staff physically harassed and were held hostage. The group has taken over the PFF house,” he concluded.

SPORTS REPORT ISLAMABAD (August 28, 2020):-Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) will conduct the PFF 'C' License Coaching Course from Sunday, September 6, 2020, in Karachi and Lahore. This will be the first 'C' License coaching course conducted in the country in the last five years. The course will help 25 aspiring candidates from each of the two cities who'll be admitted to first come and first serve basis to pursue their football coaching dream. A minimum of 50 per cent of the total course slots will be reserved for female applicants. In case that those seats are not covered, they will be available for the applicants that could be in the waiting list. Theory part will be conducted through Zoom online application from September 6 to 13 while practical work will be held from September 17 to 20 in Lahore and from September 24 to 27 in Karachi. "We are thrilled to launch these two coaching courses after a long time. To enhance the knowledge of coaches is a must for us right now. We will be sharing with the aspiring coaches the right amount of the right information at the right time," National Technical Director Daniel Limones said. PFF General Secretary Manizeh Zainli echoed Limones' thoughts mentioning how important coaching courses are to ensure a healthy football ecosystem. "It's a big step in the right direction for the PFF to conduct the first 'C' License Course in five years and it resonates with our aim to regulate the sport in pakistan. Increasing the number of qualified coaches in the country is the most basic need” said Zainli. PFF Normalisation Committee Chairman Humza Khan said: "Coach Education is key to ensure that the sport is headed towards betterment. And the PFF is determined to help current and aspiring coaches improve their knowledge and skills which is in turn going to benefit the sport in the country."
