ISLAMABAD (December 27, 2021):-Khyber Pakhtunkawa athletes have won the title of the 2nd IGFC National Taekwondo Championship 2021 with 9 gold, 5 silver and 2 bronze medals that concluded in District Tank on Monday. Gilgit Bultistan claimed second position with 3 gold and 5 bronzes while Waziristan got third position with 2 gold, 3 silver and 6 bronzes medals during the three-day top taekwondo fixture. As many 144 players from all over the country took part in the competition and 126 bouts were held in different weight categories.

At the closing ceremony, Commissioner Dera Ismail Khan Khan, Aamir Latif, RPO D I Khan Soukat Abbas and Col Sher Alam graced as chief guests and distributed the prizes among the top players. The conduct of this event was made possible with the keen interest of Brigadier Naiknam Mohammad Baig, Commander Sector South, Frontier Corps (South) KP, and whole hearted support provided by the South Asian President and CEO Combaxx Sports Omar Saeed as sponsors plays a vital role in facilitating the event.
