KPL Season-II: Jammu Janbaz claim a four-run win against Bagh Stallions
Sports Bulletin Report Muzaffarabad (AJK):- Jammu Janbaz claimed a sensational victory by just 4 runs against Bagh Stallions in the 18th game of the Kingdom Valley Kashmir Premier League (KPL) here at Muzaffarbad Cricket Stadium on Monday. Janbaz, after winning the toss, bravely decided to bat first, as left handed batter Sharjeel Khan started his innings in a style and amused the spectators with his attacking batting. Sharjeel raced to his fifty off 23 deliveries. Jammu crossed the hundred-run mark in the ninth over, however soon their downfall started, first Sharjeel went back after a brisk 66 off 31 balls (seven fours and five maximum). In the process Sharjeel Khan became the lone man to score 500+ runs in the KPL. Jammu could reach 169, before getting bundled out in the last over. With 24 runs, Shahzeb was the other prominent batter for Janbaz. Amer Jamal picked up three wickets for Stallions, Aamer Yameen chipped in with a couple. Kamran Akmal, Bagh’s opener scored 51 runs off 32 deliveries and provided a good start to his team. Akmal smashed eight fours and a six in his innings. Janbaz bowlers tightened the screws and after 10 overs Bagh were crawling at 80/4. The Stallions’ dismal show continued as they reach at a point to get 27 runs in the last two overs, with a couple of wickets in hand. Fast bowler Najam Naseer Kiyani, pulled the reigns further with his third wicket, to restrict Bagh Stallions to get 14 runs in the final over. Finally, Jammu Janbaz won the match by four runs. Najam Naseer Kiyani was the best bowler with figures of 3-41 in four overs. Sharjeel Khan was awarded player of the match.
Bagh thrash Kotli by six wickets in a nine overs per innings contest in KPL
Sports Bulletin Report Muzaffarabad (AJK):-Bagh Stallions overpowered Kotli Lions by 6 wickets in a 9 overs per innings contest of the Kashmir Premier League (KPL) Season-II at Muzaffarabad Cricket Stadium, Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJK) on Saturday, as the match was reduced to 9 over per innings due to overnight rain and wet surface. Ashan Ali 37 in 20 balls and Omair Yousuf 19 in 14 balls helped Kotli Lions to aggregate 86 for 4 runs in 9 overs, as the both batters hit each four boundaries after wasting 20 and 14 balls respectively. Wicketkeeper batter Sarfraz Ahmed contributed 10 runs with a big six. Rest of the players could not touch the double figures. Rumman Raees grabbed three vital wickets after conceding 27 runs and was judged player of the match. He received the award from Cheif Marketing Officer (CMO) Rabiia Amin. Wicketkeeper batter Karam Akmal displayed top quality cricket and smashed super strokes during his 37 runs innings guided Bagh Stallion to clinch a six wickets victory against Kotli Lions. Kamran Akmal faced just 17 balls and hit 4 fours and a couple of six during his dazzling innings. Mohammad Sarwar and Sohaib Maqsood scored 17 runs each were other major contributors. Mirpur Royals beat Jammu Janbaz by 12 runs to reach on top
Sports Bulletin Report Muzaffarabad (AJK):-Mirpur Royals defeated Jammu Janbaz by 12 runs to reach on top of points table of the Kashmir Premier League (KPL) Season-II at Muzaffarabad Cricket Stadium, Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJK) on Saturday night. Jammu Janbaz’s captain Fahim Ashraf decided to field first after winning the toss. Mirpur Royals posted 172 for 4 runs on the scoreboard in allotted 20 overs. Hasan Nawaz was top scorer with 68 runs. He faced 44 balls and hit 5 fours and 3 huge sixes during his sparkling innings. Mohammad Hamza 43 and skipper Shoaib Malik 35 runs were other notable performance with the bat for the winners. Malik smashed 2 six and two fours while Mohammad Hamza sent the ball over the boundary-line for four times. Also, Mohammad Hamza and Nawaz shared 112-run partnership for the fourth wicket. Mehran Mumtaz, Imran Khan and Faheem Ashraf got one wicket each apiece for Jammu Janbaz.  There was 173 runs target for Jammu Janbaz, when they started their innings but they could manage only 160 runs in 20 overs. Shahzeb scored 40 runs and Shahid Afridi hit 37 in 21 balls were the major contributors. Shadab Majeed got two scalps. Shoaib Malik’s all-around performance earned the player of the match award. After this victory, Mirpur Royals jumped to the top of points table with six points in five matches. Mirpur Royals overcome Rawalakot Hawks by 3 wickets in KPL Season-II
Sports Bulletin Report Muzaffarabad(AJK):- Mirpur Royals overcame Rawalakot Hawks by 3 wickets in KPL Season-II to reach on second spot on the points table on Friday in the 12th game of the Kingdom Valley Kashmir Premier League (KPL) here at Muzaffarabad Cricket Stadium, Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJK). Shoaib Malik, the Mirpur Royals skipper, after winning the coin-toss, asked Rawlakot Hawks to bat and immediately introduced spin with Abrar Ahmed, the mystery right-armer, sent the Hawks’ opener, Bismillah Khan back to the pavilion on duck. Immad Wasim, from the other end, was even better who picked up three wickets in no time, conceding 27 runs in his four overs. Hawks’ Rohail Nazeer held one end to reach his fifty, as he got out after making 59-ball 68, including six fours and two maximum. Musaddiq Ahmed (24 off 17) helped Rawlakot to reach a respectable total of 156/7. Ammad Butt (22 off 17) played a notable performance. In reply, Mirpur Royals, too, fell in trouble after losing two early wickets of Mohammad Hamza Irshad and Ali Imran, both scored just a one run each. Hasan Nawaz exhibited some resistance however got out after 24 off 18. They had 63/3, on the scoreboard. Captain Shoaib Malik scored 33 runs after facing 19 balls. Razaullah Mustafa and Immad Wasim held the innings together for a while but Razallah’s departure (12 runs) made things a little difficult for Royals however Immad Wasim had another idea. Royals needed 36 runs in 18 balls while Immad Wasim hit a couple of boundaries and later won the show, by three wickets, with five balls to spare. Faisal Akram bagged three, while Zaman Khan and Asif Afridi got two scalps each. Immad Wasim was named player of the match for his unbeaten 26 off 17 and three wickets. On the points table Mirpur Royals jumped to the second spot with four points. Rawlakot Hawks are leading the chart with five points.
Rawalakot Hawks post a solid 10-wicket win against Muzaffarabad Tigers in KPL

KPL Season II: Jammu Janbaz and Bagh Stallions claim victories
Sports Bulletin Report Muzaffarabad (AJK):-Jammu Janbaz and Bagh Stallions secured victories in the Kashmir Premier League (KPL) Season-II after beating Overseas Warriors and Mirpur Royals respectively with 7 wickets and 9 runs on Monday at Muzaffarabad Cricket Stadium. In the first match of day, Overseas Warriors batted first and scored 101 runs in the allotted 8 overs, as the match was restricted to eight overs due to a late start. Sohail Khan of Overseas Warriors scored a hat-trick in the match against Jammu Janbaz. At one stage, Jammu were three out for 45 runs in 3.5 overs, as they beat Overseas Warriors after thrilling encounter. The winners scored 105 runs in 7.5 overs. In the other match of the day, Bagh Stallions trounced Mirpur Royals by 9 runs. Mirpur Royals won the toss and decided to field. Bagh Stallions scored 189 for 5 runs for the loss of four wickets. Mirpur Royals need 189 runs in 20 overs to win the mtach. Mirpur Royals could score 180 runs. Hasan Nawaz of Mirpur Royals scored 47 off 44 balls while Ali Imran scored 47 off 28 balls. Shoaib Malik was out for 42 off 25 balls. Bagh Stallions' Aamir Jamal took two wickets for 39 runs while Aamir Yameen took one wicket for 32 runs. Sahib Maqsood of Bagh Stallions played a brilliant innings of 72 runs off 53 balls. Yasir Shah of Mirpur Royals took 2 wickets for 58 runs while Abrar Ahmed took two wickets for 24 runs. Mirpur Royals managed to score 180 runs chasing the target in 20 overs.
KPL Season-II: hosts Muzaffarabad stun Bagh Stallions by 7 wickets
Sports Bulletin Report Muzaffarabad (AJK):-Muzaffarabad Tigers defeated Bagh Stallions by seven wickets in the third match of the Kashmir Premier League (KPL) edition 2 at Muzaffarabad Cricket Stadium on Sunday night in a rain hit match. Match was reduced to five overs per side owing to rain with Bagh Stallions ending up with 52/4. Mohammad Sarwar was the top scorer with 22 while Sohaib Maqsood scored 17 off 9 deliveries. Both Mir Hamza and Arshad Iqbal shared two wickets each. In reply, the Tigers got off to a great start with Zeeshan Ashraf and Haseebullah Khan going berserk. Ashraf made 11 while Khan scored 14. Final touches were given by Iftikhar Ahmed who top scored with 24 off just 9 with two maximums and two boundaries. Ali Majid was the only positive for Stallions in the bowling department with the leg-spinner taking two wickets and going for just 15 runs.

Mirpur Royals skipper Shoaib Malik won the toss and put opposition into bat first, as Kotli Lions posted 151 for 6 runs on the board in allotted 20 overs inning. Danish Aziz was major contributor with an unbeaten 52 runs inning. Hasan scored 27 runs while captain Sarfaraz just 24. Zubair Lodhy got 2 wickets while rest of regular bowlers shared each one wicket. The Mirpur Royal achieved their target of 152 runs in the last over. Ali Imran was star with 84 runs inning, as he smashed 7 boundaries and four huge sixes during his 57 balls innings. Skipper Shoaib Malik remained not out with 48 runs. He faced 42 balls. Game-1: Rawalakot Hawks beat Jammu Janbaz by 11 runs in opener
Sports Bulletin Report MUZAFFARABAD: Rawalakot Hawks beat Jammu Janbaz in the opening fixture of the Kashmir Premier League (KPL) Season-II at Muzaffarabad Cricket Stadium on Saturday, as the rain hit the match and Hawks were declared the winners by 11 runs (D/L method). Janbaz scored 178 for 4 runs in 20 overs, as the Earlier, opening batter Sharjeel Khan was unstoppable against Hawks as he smashed power-packed 89 runs to help Janbaz post 178-4. Janbaz lost their opener Shahbaz for naught but Sharjeel looked extremely solid to rescue the newly-introduced KPL franchise. Alongside Sahibzada Farhan, Shrajeel powered Janbaz to score 145 runs for the loss of one wicket in 14.5 overs. A strong 145-runs partnership between Sharjeel and Farhan ensured a big total on the scoreboard. Farhan scored 56 off 44 balls laced with five boundaries and two maximums whereas left-hander Sharjeel smoked 89 off 51 including seven boundaries and eight towering sixes. Skipper Ahmed Shehzad was bowled out by Imran Khan Sr. But, Bismillah Khan 16 (10) and Babar Khaliq 13 (7) were on the crease. Shahid Afridi lit up the crowd with not just his presence but a cameo of 15 runs with two boundaries. For defending champions Hawks, Mohammad Amir, Faisal Akram and Asif Afridi bagged a wicket each.
